It's not just Shueisha, but the entire manga/anime industry in Japan that lobbied for this new anti-piracy law, which is just bum-**** stupid shit. All it's going to do is ensure that their works DON'T get popularized and their existing (and potentially untapped) fanbases get pissed.

I mean... Reports - including one by a Witcher 3 dev - have shown that game, manga, anime sales are actually boosted by piracy.

To be fair: Dragon Ball actually experienced its peak in popularity from the introduction of Raditz to the end of the Namek/Frieza Saga, according to the manga's editors.

The problem with Boruto wasn't just the introduction of aliens in what was a one-world-contained fantasy setting, but the drop in quality. They just didn't do it right.

Another factor is Naruto fights no longer being interesting.

DB went through something similar. Toriyama had to bring back Goku because DB fandom was fed up with his demise and not content with Gohan as main character.

All the anime/manga themed hoodies I've seen here are only DBZ themed

Been looking for a good hoodie myself. I just can't seem to find the right one for a good price. Nike and Levi's have what I want, but they cost more than I'm willing to shell out. Guess I'll check out Jockey.

I watched a YouTube video from this one old dude who said he started reading Dragon Ball from the time it first started its run. He said the reveal that Goku was an alien was a shocking bolt from the blue.
