I might rewatch AoT anime again just because of Erwin. He was such an amazing person.

 

Idk Armin was pretty smart he might've pulled something off
I can think of some plans of the top of my head
1. Have the titans coexist with the world and deal with it, teach the shifters the power of titans and distribute it evenly across the world (bad idea of you think of the dangers it comes with)
2. Zook's plan to castrate all Eldians (very bad idea)
3. Successful rumbling so that every non Eldian dies (very very bad idea)
But yeah at the end Mikasa killing Eren was the most logical thing to do but why does it hurt so much

 

I don't think 1st would ever work since some ppl might just cause trouble and is never an assurance it will 100% of time work.

There was no other way to end the circle. What Eren did was the most logical thing bar the rumbling which is questionable.

Though what Eren did, was pretty Eren thing to do. He wanted to save his people and destroy everyone else since he was obsessed with revenge.
