For sure, you wouldn't think it'd cause issues with other components. xD

    Both COVID and infra situation.

    Nice :okhand

    Very Nice :okhand

    :aizen

I've been using wi-fi only as well, and have no issues. I had issues before. Router was the problem. The stock routers they give you when you get a new FTTH connection are shit in general.

Get a good Belkin or Asus router.

Comparable upload figures for me, but 32 to 40 mbps download.

My plan is 40 mbps max. It's quite reliable and quite cheap. I have no issues streaming in 1080p and with gaming.

I have an Airtel quarterly payment plan. Rs. 1,650 per quarter (works out to Rs. 550 per month).

    That's AUD 9.65 per month @Gobb

My old HP desktop, which I used for gaming, was constantly having blue screen issues. I was afraid it was a virus.

Opened her up, cleaned out some dust on the CPU cooling fan, and rearranged a couple of wires. 100% fine and temperatures went from 95 Celsius to 56 Celsius.

This was a desktop with 2007 hardware, by the way.

    Thanks for the tip :okhand

May be that held true till the early 2010s, but wireless connections since the late 2010s have been very reliable.

COVID situation is pretty dire. People have to literally fight and scream for oxygen in small hospitals. Big hospitals can be expensive. Drugs like Fabiflu and Ivermectin are sold at price greater than MRP. Overall its pretty shit, so best way to not die is stay at home.

That's me. **** Ambanis but their fiber pricing is pretty great :etard
I was shitting on WiFi because i pay for 100 and get around this at all times. You only get full 100 when you're standing like a feet away from the router. Also, you can't get a third party router since it is known to cause "compatibility issues" with the server.

Blue Screen is usually due to software issues. But yeah cleaning helps a lot tbf.

For sure it would depend on the device too. If you have a much older device with older wifi hardware, it'd be slower too, I assume. Depends on router too. Beats a kilometre cable going through the house though. xD Now, if you had a house with lan ports in every room, you'd just use the wired. xD

Yeah, true. I use a wifi dongle instead of a PCI antenna. Also i don't think you'd even notice difference in 60 mbps and 100 mbps while browsing and streaming. Anything greater than 25 mbps is fine tbh. Lol yeah every room with a LAN port is the dream xD

I'm going to be honest: It's not as good as Roar, but it fits very well as a Pokemon song.

Same situation here. This government is ******* up royally while the Youth Congress and JD(S) are actually doing shit on the ground.

I have staunchly pro-BJP family members - who would jump off the terrace if Modi ordered it - trashing the BJP regime here

Compatibility issues with the server my ass.

They said the same with a JioFi dongle my sister bought; they said to use Jio sim only. Used a Vi sim in it once and it worked fabulously.

    Yup.

A friend of mine up in North Bangalore has a BSNL FTTH connection at home. He was getting like 5-10 mpbs on a connection that was supposed to be 50 mbps. He upgraded to a superb Asus router (BSNL's own hardware is shite) and he was experiencing the plan's promised speeds.

I've found 40 mbps to be more than fine for me.

And, yeah, LAN port in every room - dream house.

    Goodnight, trash-bag humper +.+

Wow **** that customer care guy then. I guess I'll try getting a new router xD
