Have probably spent only an hour outside [to get milk and other stuff] for past 1 month

 

My college mate from Begusarai got vaxxed today. But yeah the portal is glitchy AF. One second there are 2 slots available at one center and at next second poof.

 

The thing is will probably get vaccinated with my cousins so it probably in 10 days when the vaccination mess calms down since they don't even have vaccines left

 

My friend from Chattisgarh told me there is reservation in vaccines also lol

 

Yeah I'm starting to think the same, less crowd and better poking

 

He said many of those people aren't coming to vaccinate and when stocks of general public goes bust the don't even try to use the doses that are just there for reserved.

Mom, mother-in-law, father-in-law have gotten both shots. Dad, sister, wife, myself all got first shot this week.

I'm using extra thick but pure combed cotton face masks; like proper, fully-protecting, nose-bridge-hugging face masks and not those single-layer banyan material ones that imitate microplastic surgical masks. They're still a problem in heat, but they're better than the ones with synthetic material (more environmentally friendly as well).

The only problem is that they don't come cheap.

I've spent more time outside this past month, albeit out of absolute necessity.

One second you see 100 slots left, and the literal next second it says all are booked. There is also a weird glitch: slots with 100+ availability which become quickly booked out still show as 100 free till you log out and log in again.

Our CM is such a ******* piece of shit.

He said he'd ordered a few million more doses last week. But the vendors themselves came out and said they received no order from Karnataka. Then, after media ridicule, especially from the magnificent H R Ranganath, he said he'd call for a global vaccine tender.

The senile old fart is sitting on his ass doing nothing until the media catch him unawares and wake him the **** up.

This reminds me of a change.org petition asking that cops and essential workers such as delivery men and sanitation workers be vaccinated first.

Make sense to me, actually.

But the petition didn't gain enough attention.

Dude, the gods themselves coming down and teaching everyone a hard lesson in this country is the only thing that will make them learn. But there is no such thing, so **** it all.
