The amount of destruction Poliomyelitis did in my country and that it was one of the last to be fully vaccinated I know what is going to happen if don't take vaccine and end up getting affected.
Also last century during Spanish flu 5% population of India died.

 

To give you an idea despite Indian's population massively growing during last century the decade 1911-1921 was the only decade where it slumped. Spanish flu was 1918
