Yes a friend convinced me to watch critically panned Live Action Speedracer from 2008 and I really liked it lol

 

Well, I only saw some weirdly hilarious clips from the anime in Ytube. Does the live action have the same energy?

Movie is an easy 8/10

The last race is pretty fantastic and yeah it's just whacky as anime

Yup.

Went to watch that movie with my dad. We actually loved it. I actually end up liking most films I go to see with my dad.

We've gone to some movie together that are so terrible that we still laugh about them together.

The animated series is better, in my opinion. But that may be the nostalgia talking.

Can't say the animated series wasn't problematic in some places though. But we must keep in mind that it was from a different time and place.

My sister and wife told me to stop beating around the bush and order new laptop already, especially with one work desktop in its death throes and needing a new rig anyway.

Acer official store has a massive sale ongoing from 3rd to 5th August, with many models selling for lower than on Amazon and Flipkart.

Ordered an Acer Aspire 7 with Ryzen 5 5500U, GTX 1650M GDDR6, 16 GB 3200 MHz RAM for INR 64,500. Also got with it the 3 year extended warranty (1 + 2 years) and Acer Nitro headset worth INR 13,000 for free.

Arrives in seven working days. So... May be next Wednesday or Thursday?
