And my mom being a panicky and very negative person doesn't help. She's actually there in the hospital, did the cooking, helping me and the wife out a lot despite her age of 66 and her own health issues. But, damn it, her negativity is a problem. Even the treating doctor, who is her closest cousin and a guy who NEVER gets angry and NEVER raises his voice, snapped at her once.

When someone who does not normally get mad, gets mad . . . it's ******* terrifying. And he doesn't even raise his voice in volume. It's like the menacing low voice of a calm and collected serial killer
