If you look at it logically, OP for 20+ years is selling well.while new manga are being canceled a year or 2 into existing, if you look at it logically, Weekly Shonen Jump IIRC is having a shortage of good selling manga and the ones which do sell good, are about to end

It's literally a fact that Oda is having privledge in anything in WSJ lol he's literally running WSJ alone (was) for years now...

 

When One Piece ends, WSJ will take such a massive hit financially because no other manga is having that big of an income for period of years...

 

Was he though, I don't recall him being forced at all since OP is his work, so is his film, how do you force yourself with something from yourself?

 

This isn't a Microsoft owning a developer and pushing the dates of release.

If you see how Oda works, so far he didn't sell out once to works he don't consider worthy.

For example, Dragon Ball, Naruto and other manga sold out to Fortnite immediately, so far One Piece is no where near anything which Oda doesn't want.
