    It is because of how the tick rate changed from console to PC port. The tick rate being doubled means the enemy AI (also allied AI, actually) agros and reacts twice as fast, attacks for twice as long, chase you down and disengage for twice the distance as on console, and they re-agro twice as quickly even after being disengaged. That is out of the dev's hands when porting.

    What we should be asking is:

    (1) Why did the look angle change slightly between ports? Note that this affects auto-aim features and grenade throws.

    (2) Why does the player character - when compared to the console port - move slightly slower, jump to an ever so slightly less max height, take more damage when moving and/or falling, and in general behave differently under the same damn physics engine?

    (3) Why have they not released patches to fix this shit and equalize it with the console version? And why have the latest patches actually made the above issues worse?
