Typical of that company, honestly. They have a horrendous history with workplace toxicity, and not just when it comes to women and trans people. Even the men suffered.

It is good for legitimate gameplay when huge prizes are involved. There are still cash prize pools for speed-running Halo 2 on Legendary or LASO without dying once.

The truly unhinged ones are the funniest.

That Bollywood song and dance sequence is sort of a gift to the meme community. It lends itself well to various soundtracks, especially anime openings or endings.

 

Remember when they were putting the Neon Genesis Evangelion and Attack on Titan opening for every fukking thing?

Also... The Linken Park anime AMVs... Man, that was one heck of a decade.

 

To be fair: Much of the drama was hidden/covered-up. People are more willing to open up now about the abuses they have suffered, and youtubers/streamers can be more easily than ever outed for their wrongdoings.
