Going for the PB today, I feel good, the weather seems cold but no wind which is important. I didn't eat anything, I have 2 bananas, honey and an energy drink ready.

Yeah. The real velociraptors (both species) were about the size of a dingo or perentie; about 2 metres from snout to tail, 0.6 metre tall, and 15 to 20 kg. You obviously did not want to fukk with one (as you would not want to fukk with a wild dingo or perentie). But they were not as menacing as like likes of deinonychus, which was almost twice as long, twice the height, and four times the weight (about the size of a large leopard or Komodo dragon).
