I don't know if they are specifically in cahoots with it, but when one raises prices, the other won't not raise prices. Why not milk people for more of the competitor is?

It felt like it to me. It's obviously not 1:1 but the similarities are something else. I can't find the best clips on youtube but can sort of port it together, but the notes are
>enemy explodes and the strongest person tries to stop it alone
>he is only using one arm to stop it because the other is damaged and somehow the explosion basically turned into a beam struggle
>mc is getting slowly overwhelmed but a projection of an ally comes over and helps (heals his arm)
>mc unleashes full power with some support from the ally and ends up overwhelming the enemy


First one is another language subs and cut/sped up but you can see how he ends up just using one arm with the other damaged and the girls "projection" helping. I mean even his clothes are torn in the same way, just opposite side.



This is the other half from a different person so has better quality/eng sub, etc.

Yeah I heard the anime was something, and wasn't it almost not released because of cancelation or something? Or was that another series similar.

 

Dude I was watching it and just like god damn, feels like a tribute to it.
