This whole manga is the result of nepotism when you think about it. A literal nobody was handed a sequel to one of the biggest series ever because he wouldn't ever make it otherwise lol

Then samurai 8 tanked despite sj doing their damn best to force it into the spotlight and kishi had to take over despite it being obvious that he has zero interest in it

this show is a mess but I still can't help but kinda like it. Well, it is at the very least the first time in over a decade where I finished watching a yugioh spin off and wasn't actively offended by it. I liked the characters and the story but yea the writing was lol-worthy at times. It is what it is, still put it above zexal, arc-v and whatever the hell the new rush series are supposed to be.

I honestly believe Samurai 8 failed becoz the promoted it too much rather than leaving grow organically.They expected it to be best seller just on Kishimoto's name and it was just avg seller.

If it had not been promoted like crazy like printing shitload of copies then probably it would have gone on for like 20 something volume and had an okay run

Boruto on other hand is literally chipping of any standing Naruto had like Holy **** how can you keep getting dumb and dumb ideas which are going to hurt you going forward and why should anything matter if you are just gonna retcon or change it anyway.

I mean people were moaning Kurama died now a good load will moan OMG kurama is alive but anyone with even little brain can see this just ripping off Naruto plot becoz author cannot come out of anything on its own
