It is a German brand that is well known in many EU nations (especially western Europe). They are overshadowed by the big US, Taiwanese, and Chinese brands and do not have a global outreach. But they are well known across western Europe and even the Americas. They are mostly held in high regard by hardcore gamers both within and outside this sphere (some even go as far as importing their custom laptops instead of buying one from the other brands).

Yeah. Schenker/XMG make good stuff. Not cheap though, as I said. And they're made (or at the very least assembled) in Germany. If I had the chance to get my hands on one, believe me I would.

They are a German tech website (though they have English version of the site as well) which specializes in reviewing laptops, smartphones, and related peripherals. Schenker/XMG are a favourite of theirs, because of the unmatched quality. You can check reviews of this brand's laptops on Notebookcheck before making a decision.
