Intel CPUs (13th and 14th) gen are affected by a few different things which basically cause the chips to die within a short timeframe.

The failure rate of intel is much higher on a much larger scale. You can't really point to it being specifically CPU when it could be motherboard or other and Asus is just ******* you over.

I've only noticed problem with CPU and it must be the CPU. Though they don't see the problem despite playing the games as well, I am sure it could be the charger not giving enough umf for laptop to work consistently? because it happens from TIME TO TIME not always. Sometimes one gaming session is good, sometimes another one is not good.

You do spend. But it's not like you spend to the point of bankruptcy, right?

Also saving up for Japan, right?

    :okhand

Yeah, they've come a good way from their older models. Ten years ago, they were known for performance alone, with their laptops being clunky, extra thicc, heavy, and not aesthetically pleasing. But now they have some actually good lookers.

To be fair: there are laptops with comparable specs that cost a tad less. But, yes, this isn't bad.

Perhaps you can look at something with a slightly weaker CPU and slightly stronger GPU? May be more balanced of a rig? Or may be just the former, thus lowering cost?

Bitch, please. I'm sitting here with a Ryzen 5 5500U laptop, and it is more than fine. Great battery life and runs cool as well.

AMD is having issues at the moment only performance-wise and with this one particular vulnerability, and even then you won't notice the difference at all with a top-end gaming chip and the vulnerability is something you don't have to worry about. Intel has quality control issues with the 13th and 14th gen CPUs. Like major issues. I'm talking CPUs outright dying on people and taking the rest of the systems with them.

Again, as an AMD user here:
The failure rate for AMD chips since 2020 is much lower than the failure rate for Intel. They also run cooler, which is hilarious, because up till 2014 it was the other way around: with Intel being known for running cool and AMD running as hot as boiling water even during daily tasks.

I don't think you lie. I just don't know if I trust you being able to troubleshoot your own issues.
