It is true that China is not the good socialist beacon that some deluded idiots make it out to be, but China is nowhere near as bad as the US. To say that China is "much worse" than the nation that literally saved Nazism and propped up 99% of the current right wing regimes the world over (including Putin) is playing into the new Sinophobic red scare.

Only per neoliberal and far right propaganda. Neutral observers have noted that they're doing okay. Not stellar, but they get by. It's the US economy that is fraudulent and on the brink of collapse. Their own damn senators are coming out and saying that the US will default on their sovereign debt by 2050. China's economy has issues to deal with, but no different from other "emerging" economies. It's the so-called "developed" economies in the imperial core and neoliberal economies like India that are actually really in the shitter. Hence the rise of Fascist far right movements. After all, Fascism is just the final stage of Capitalism.

Though I would like to point out that China's economy currently is also a unique breed of neolib. Has been so since the rise of Dengism.

People have been predicting the impending collapse of China's economy since Reagan's first term 40 years ago. They have been consistently wrong.
