People be like fly or invisible

And people go fly! I can travel wherever I want, I can travel across the world.

Piss the **** off no you can't. He said fly not ******* moving as fast as a plane as well.

**** you gonna travel to flying at run speed of 30 km/h at best.

I mean you can techically, but no ones doing that kek.

    Bollocks this.

Ugh... Borderlands is two tiers below dog shit. Jesus Fukking Christ.

Welcome to neoliberalism, bitch. We own your ass now.
    ~ Friedman and Hayek, probably

I understand your concerns. I sure do.

However, as someone who absolutely loves high places and dreams of hovering over a peaceful lake or river or a roaring waterfall: I would welcome it, even with the limitation of flight at my max jogging or running speed; which, by the way, would still be enough to fly to the top of the highest mountains on the planet (such as Denali, which is the tallest mountain on land from base to summit) in just 15 minutes.

Don't get me wrong, I'd like to fly too compared to be invisible, but we need to adress the elephant in the room xDxDxDxDxD

I have watched bits of it. Yeesh. Do yourself a favour and stay away.

I normally am okay with people experiencing a story for themselves and forming their own opinion. But this one is just that bad.

Bruh, flight is flight. Who cares if you're limited in speed? And even if you could fly at high speed, you'd need superhuman durability and new internal organ structures. Because as soon as you hit 40 km/hr at just several dozen metres of altitude, you're going to rupture your eardrums and probably also do damage to your eyeballs.

    @Gobb
    @JoeJoe

I have read some wireless radio acoustic tests for the Galaxy A35 and Galaxy A55, which are two models I'm interested in at the moment. The results are fukking weird. Oh, and these are results from tests that were done in Germany and Australia, by the way.

    A35
It has weaker 4G reception than A55, albeit still very strong. Upload/Download speeds are above average, but with average ping.
It has stronger 5G reception than A55. Upload/Download speeds are outstanding (on par with flagships) but still with average ping.

    A55
It has stronger 4G reception than A35. Upload/Download speeds are excellent and with good ping.
It has weaker 5G reception than A35, albeit still strong and "class typical". Upload/Download speeds are above average, with good ping.

Bruh... How the hell could Samsung have messed up in this way? I know they're both serviceable, but this is a joke for what Samsung foundry touted as a "new generation modem" in the A55's new SOC. The "new generation modem" works better with previous generation cellular standard than the current one. What?

There are so many better ways to spend a couple of hours.

    Fair enough.

Won't like G5 is worse than G4 in nearly every case. If you live in a city, G5 will have such a shit signal/speed because the waves are shorter kek

I swear Samsung doesn't care about their other phones compared to their best line, which is a shame. I'd say Xiaomi in most cases is a better buy than a Samsung xD

I knoww! but I like Borderlands! :DDDD

    Upon further reading:
It seems the A35 has an updated antenna set-up, which seemingly contributes to the stronger 5G reception. This is because 5G signals require a robust physical antenna set-up, with more physical area of antennae being better; whereas 4G absolutely needs a strong modem, and physical antennae give diminishing returns. The A55's antenna set-up has drawbacks due to the aircraft grade aluminium alloy frame used in the device's chassis, which apparently necessitates a smaller overall antenna area and it weakens the 5G signal a bit due to its properties; but it doesn't affect the 4G signal, whose strength remains strong thanks to the good modem.

Comparison of the two. Higher wattage is better/stronger signal.

A35 signal strength in St Leonards, New South Wales, Australia:
    3 to 25 picowatts
This is exceptional signal strength. Better than some flagships, actually. Hilariously enough, this is actually stronger than the Galaxy S23FE, which is supposed to be a flagship class device.

A55 signal strength in the same location:
    0.6 picowatts to 7 picowatts
This is actually a strong signal (0.252 picowatts or 252 femtowatts is the threshold at which 4G+ and 5G are usable signals, with wattage below that being unusable). But it is literally a fraction as strong as the device which costs two-thirds as much.

In urban areas, you have higher MHz bands (in the GHz range, actually) to account for increased user capacity and reduce range, because urban areas will have higher population densities and better infrastructure (with towers every couple of km). Thus the shorter wavelength. Meanwhile... In rural areas, they use MHz bands (hundreds of MHz) to account for less capacity but greater range, with towers being spread out over dozens of kilometres.

Samsung's biggest focus in the last three years has been with their two most popular A-series lines i.e. the A3X and A5X lines. This is because these two have consistently been their best selling models since 2019, with 2023's Galaxy A14 5G (which was that year's best-selling phone model of any brand) being the exception. In fact, they've gone as far as bringing some features to these lines that you normally see in more expensive models, regardless of brand. Heck, this year's A35 and A55 are a big step-up from their predecessors when it comes to features and build.

It's a case-by-case basis, really. In most cases, Xiaomi is better only for chuds who want gaming on the cheap and people who want a good camera but nothing else. But seriously, Xiaomi's cameras utterly shit on Samsungs in the same price range. However, Xiaomi is a huge NOPE for me for a variety of reasons:
    1. The UI is just the fukking worst, especially for someone who neuro issues, such as myself.
    2. Thermal issues, poor battery life, and bad battery longevity in most cases. At least with Samsung and OnePlus, you know the battery will last five years.
    3. Their budget devices tend to have lower quality motherboards. This is a huge ongoing issue with the Poco line.
    4. Samsung is way better when it comes to software support and security updates.
    5. Privacy. The "CCP is looking at my dick pics" thing is a lying meme that has been debunked, by members of NATO and even US agencies no less. Heck, most of these Chinese phone brands are actually at odds with the CCP and work closely with corporate America. However, there is no denying that Samsung is a better choice on privacy. Especially for someone who increasingly does tax-related shite and banking on mobile. Knox is just that good, and One UI won't bombard me with ad notifications every time I open my bloody phone to look at an email from a client.

And I love Halo, but I wouldn't touch the Halo TV show unless you paid me episode-by-episode.

But if you want to torture yourself for two hours, go ahead.

Yeah, it is a majorly stupid oversight.

Oh, your phone chassis design is interfering with 5G signals? Fine. Just tweak the fukken antennae, then. OnePlus and Motorola both fixed this issue in their metal-framed phones. And if they can, why can't a company with bigger reach and more resources like Samsung? Come on!
