I wish Yoru was here so I can say how dogshit Dandadan ending of S1 is. I am beyond baffled how they ended a season while already having an ongoing arc. Why not end it on episode before?

Like this is beyond dogshit considering new season comes in July and people will forget what happened in the last episode of S1.

Conflicted between 7 or an 8 because there's no story and stuff happen without explanation.

 

Might even call it overrated because barely any plot, it's the comic scenes which carry the anime and newly introduced characters are just annoying af.

Don't get the big hype, it's decent but nothing more than that, for a shonen, power system is non existent and barely any plot doesn't help in this case at all.

Big plus is a female lead which barely happens in a shonen but I'd be lying if this was something extra.

 

The way is having a badass character added to the mix later so you have some balance between serious and funny moments, this is just straight circus in Dandadan LMAO

I absolutely love his little insides about One Piece, it's really interesting how much tone is lost in translations. That's actually so cool!

 

Nobody can top the toxicity of the Star Wars leakers, though. Those guys were so bad, they went full Nazi. Not even exaggerating: they platformed far-right figures and literal Neo-Nazis (some of them well known names) in their attempts to stay relevant and continue grifting. Yeah. Especially so given that some episodes will supposedly feature never-before-seen content and such. There is only so much you can do with 13 or 14 episodes. So they may have to trim the fat in other places. I recall that Cour 1 and 2 cut some interactions and even entire scenes for the sake of time (the most notable and confusing being the explanation of the Lloyd twins, which was pretty crucial info). Cour 3 also removed some stuff in Dark Arm, Holy Newborn, Gate of the Sun, and Don't Chase a Shadow. However, some of these episodes introduced a lot of other stuff, so they probably had no choice but to make cuts.
