@JoeJoe @upsurge the company i ordered 5090 from today called me. They offered Asus TUF OC model plus 10% store credit to get it shipped in the next week. Then said might be able to alternatively swap in Gaming Trio (MSI) one. I declined those for now saying I'd think and get back in a day or so. Then I asked about the MSI Vanguard model as it was available in the last week, then not. The said they would ask about it. No ETA for Suprim.They said the company that bought them out is also now offering refund prior to the insolvency (actual chad move tbh). Current options are:
Do nothing + get 10% credit when order is filled (no ETA)
Take whatever card + get 10% credit when order is filled (over next week or so)
Get a refund and buy another card from anywhere else (which will cost me an extra like 100-500)
Get a refund and do nothing

I am leaning towards the second option to put myself out of this.

I'll be honest, Idk if I trust them on the refund though kek. AFAIK their deal wasn't to refund orders but fulfil them and they're under no obligation to refund.

 

I'll see what they have to say when I call tomorrow. The first two offered cards where to ship this week or next I think. I was planning on taking the Vanguard if possible. But yeah Idk.

I think the most impressive thing is that it's not a 1:1 100% win bot, because she can still **** up and fail like in error.

Oh, the suprim is in stock in every store except this one LMAO. But it's $5200 cheapest vs $4700 I paid. Vanguard cheapest is $4800 which is basically same as suprim minus one heat pipe. So like I said, if I can get Vanguard within like 2 weeks I'll leave. But if Vanguard is a no, I will just decide yes or no depending on confirmation of refund policy again. I am so hesitant because of the whole bankruptcy, they aren't obliged to give a refund.

I'll see if I can tard wrangle some answers tomorrow. I was really put on the spot today though because they called me at like 230pm when I was working and I wasn't expecting a call lmao.

 

Like, I actually think the company that took over is good (not my friend). They absolutely had no obligation to fulfil any previous orders or give any refunds. So if it's within reason, then I would like to give them my business of completing the order. But yeah, I also need to do what works best. How many other companies would you lose the money on? A lot.
