If I can find the action or function, rather, which is the one for creating a new post, it should be very easy. I would simply create a new database with simply post id and the random number, I would insert that into the database on post create and continue the parent function. Then, when it's the correct section, I would simply create a helper to get the random number where it is equal to the post id. If I can't get that, I could probably use the helper to do the post id multiplied by this or that and - whatever to calculate a static "random" number for each post.
