But in work I do..

Imagine someone that asks you to do impossible task. He gives you a "suggestion" like "do it your way". You do it and finally get somewhere. Show the result. "It's wrong do it again". So you do, with the same result. And again. And then he asks you why you do this for so long. And get another suggestion "Just do it", and you are like "I don't even know anymore what I am supposed to achieve". But have to do something, knowing there is no goal and it never will be good O_O

Or "Do it that way, do this and this". You are in the middle of progress, he comes and points out "this and this is wrong do it other way".... "Motherfucker YOU told me to do it just the other way"...

And adding to that he is very rude and choleric person with short fuse, explodes very quickly as well. He's actually the rudest person I have ever met, including assholes that were bullying me in primary and high school. So if he wants he can be VERY unpleasant.. And he wants very often especially towards Export Department, where I work.

Sounds like an old school Indian tax department employee. Man what a douche.

 

It's like he has 5 second memory. He tells you to do this, some time later he comes and argues that this is wrong. My colleague, Export Manager (i am his Assistant), was to do pricing for some product. It was a task assigned to him by the boss, with suggestions from the boss (use that mechanism, this program, this scheme). Today (1 day after task was assigned) he came to him with oh so huge rancor and fuss "why are you doing it this way, this is wrong). After that they had VERY not calm discussion about priorities and guidelines. This fucks up the atmosphere completely

You cannot "talk" with the boss. Really. There is no such thing as "talk". It either ends in you being lectured or in bitter wordly tug of war, where he always has to say the last word. I know he's a boss, but ffs, he doesnt even know what is he saying, and forgets about it right after...

Yes, he is massive asshole.



Anyway, what's been happening in your work for whole month?

 

You need a vacation from him. My idea of that seems a good weekend at home and not thinking about the douche.

A combination of last minute income tax filings and a rush for GST (Goods and Services Tax) filing. The really fun part is that I hog all the GST work to myself because I don't want anyone else ******* it up.

I really need a vacation at the end of September when the work load eases.

 

Yeah vacation from that guy seems nice.

You seem to have similar job like me, lots of paper stuff, dealing with problems other people cause... At least its not manual slavery, right?

I know that feeling, because I am the one that often fucks up and people I'd like to be on good terms with have to correct my mistakes -_-
