He even afforded Hindu temples some protection and gave them donations. And once he was absolutely disgusted with the actions of this one small time king who raided and pillaged this one Hindu mutt. He did indeed burn down some churches and demolish some temples. But those belonged to traitorous Hindu & Christians who bought into British propaganda and committed treason against him. Even other Hindu kings did this. One king from what is today North Karnataka actually burnt down some churches, a mosque, even a mutt for working with the British. But do you hear about that shit? No. Of course not. Tipu was the big bad Muslim.

I say all this and I was born into a devout Brahmin household.
