There only hope is for the next Wonder Woman and Aquaman flicks to do really well at the box office, even if they don't receive high critical acclaim. That's how Michael Bay's terrible Transformers crap kept going. Critics didn't love it, but fans kept giving the money.

Unfortunately, Warner Bros. keeps on making all the wrong decisions with DC these days. It's a fine example of what can happen to a franchise when corporate boards - not dedicated content creators who are fans themselves - keep making all the decisions. Man, am I glad Disney left Lucasfilm free to their own thing and not interfere at all.
