    Half of the tax agents have no idea what the **** they're doing. You have men and women spending their gst, super, etc for their business which isn't even their money. People have no idea, not to mention how many can't read a form to complete it properly. But muh small business struggles. Maybe if these people even had any idea how their own company should be run to not be in crippling debt because of shit management, we wouldn't be in this mess. Reminds me of when a mate was like, "The ABN is yours, you can do whatever you want with it, you can run the company into the ground." LMAO.

    Highest debt I've seen is 74 million. Maybe one day I can get Google or Amazon or something and have a peak.

    It was a company and it s was something like 3 tax returns and there was audits and then shortfall interest applied. Shortfall interest was like 30-50m which was remitted so it was the primary which was paid basically in full I think.

    There was one time my mate got someone with like 110k per year income being a dick and asking for a payment plan for $1 per month. Just kept being a **** so he was like, "okay, we'll leave it were it is and let further debt recovery action commence." Bet he wasn't so smug when his bank was garnished.

    We do get paid to work, you know. You think Faint and I do this for fun?

    I hate such shits. They think the whole F@cking tax regime revolves around them.

    And on the other end, you have the know-it-all douchebags who try to tell you how to do your job.

    :nnb3

    Who the F@ck was this?

    "garnished"
    Now there's a term I haven't heard in this line of work.

    Yup ;-;

    Oh definitely, that's the entire point of service standards. You're not the only person in the country getting it lol.

    Yeah, pretty annoying.

    I honestly can't remember.

    A garnishee is basically where we get money directly from the bank account or employer. For example, there is a PIT (Point In Time) Garnishee which is issued to their bank, it will take either 30% of the available balance of the bank account or the debt in full, whichever is smaller. It's quiet savage but happens just once. There can also be on-going Garnishees which can be given to their employer so we get x amount of each dollar they earn directly taken from their wage.
