I'm actually getting more and more bored with One Piece. If the series wasn't so close to the end, I probably would have dropped it.

This whole situation is bullshit. Rial and Marchi could have handled this a bit more maturely. And the manga/anime community are only proving how F@cking toxic and pathetic they are, with their constant peddling of fake news and personal attacks against anyone they think is some big bad SJW.

I'd like to believe Vic is innocent, he does seem so to me, given the awkward timing of the allegations, none being put forward beforehand, and Rial taking all of his positions the moment he's fired. But then again, not every one of the claims can be untrue. Though the extremes everyones going to are rather awful, I wish Twitter wasn't a thing so cases like this didn't snowball into ridiculousness.

Oh, and the woman we were buying our new dog off of didn't tell her kids she was selling her dog before making the decision, now she's gone back on it... We just want a new dog, five people now have changed their minds just a few days before the dog is with us.

The fact that Vic even put out an apology letter instead of contesting the allegations proves that at least some (or even many) of the claims are true. As entrenched as the culture of suppressing sexual harassment claims seems to be in Hollywood (Terry Crews was kicked off of the cast of the next Expendables for refusing to drop the case against his molester), I am not at all surprised that these cases were suppressed for so damn long. Most of Vic's accusers actually risked their own careers by coming out (some may actually need to go into witness protection due to facing death threats).

I also agree that Rial and Marchi are behaving in an unacceptable manner. There may be a lot of fake news about them and even threats to them these days, but their behaviour hasn't exactly been level-headed and mature. Look at Terry Crews. He has been an absolute gem of a human being throughout his ordeal.
