1. Toward the Terra, ending of episode 09: Keith is forced to kill his rival and friend Shiroe - even though he doesn't want to - because he sees it as his patriotic duty. He starts crying after the act, and the entire ending theme is dedicated to Shiroe.

2. Toward the Terra, ending of episode 17: Soldier Blue sacrifices himself for his people. The episode ending theme starts off with his "sleeping lions deep in space" monologue and is dedicated entirely to him.

^ The way both of these were done is just so touching and brilliant.

3. I know I'm going to get flak for this, but here goes:
Ending of Oracion Seis arc of Fairy Tail: Richard Buchanan learns that the younger brother he's been looking for his whole life, for whom he committed several dark deeds, is alive and well; he breaks down and starts thanking Erza. The music that plays during this scene is quite moving.

REAL TALK. If Ori and the Will of the Wisps get the same level of OSTs in a game, I'm not overrating it but it will be the best platformer ever made in the history of video games.
