A strategic bomber would actually work well in Star Wars. But you'd ideally need a stygium crystal cloaking device.

The problem with this tech is that it is quite rare, prohibitively expensive, and a pain to maintain.

 

But Oda is a master mangaka.

He owns the Shonen genre. Before it was Dragon Ball which changed the shonen perception and honestly most of people thought the Dragon Ball legacy will never be beaten.

Oda not only made a better manga, he bloody made the best selling manga of all times. Beat every single mangaka to this day. People tell me One Piece is overrated, but realistically it isn't, just isn't. Tell me one shonen which does things better than Oda does.

Over the years,22 exact(I think) there's no plothole in his manga(story wise). No asspull. Nothing, how da fuk you manage to do this? Not only that, the quality improved overtime where on other manga, quality goes down.

One Piece deserves every praise and I will always recommend that manga to everyone 'cause it's that good.

Oda does not owned Shonen. There has been other mangas that survive OP and went on to create own fanbase aka depends on taste of reader
One piece has sold some 450 million copies but it always had competition

Naruto sold 250 million copies
Bleach sold 120 million copes
SNK sold some 90 million copies
Hunter X Hunter some 72 million copies
Fullmetal Alchemical some 70 million copiea
Fairy Tail sold 60 million copies
Gintama sold 55 million copies

add the fact one piece is the largest of them so all of them did quite well in their respective fanbase

 

Who cares about pirate copies you act like One Piece doesn't have pirate copies, as much as pirate copies from DB were sold, same can be said about One Piece.

I'm sorry but all manga you mentioned didn't or doesn't have the longevity of One Piece, not even close. FMAB has 116 chapters, HxH has 400 chapters barely and will probs get cancelled at this point, Yu Yu Hakusho is just not even that good and has barely 180 chapters if that.

It's easy to make a 120 chapter manga and get a story out of it, now add 800 chapters more and try to make it as interesting. Many failed. Oda lives by it.

Compared to One Piece which has nearly 900 chapters and still has this many fans, I'm sorry but that takes knowledge.

Sure other manga existed and survived but look at other copies and look at One Piece lol, it's not even close to what One Piece is getting. 150 million is the difference and One Piece is still running. That's Goda worthy.

Bruh you can't brag about OP sales and flaunt how long the manga's been running while at the same time acting like the two aren't connected. Had Toriyama not stopped would you accept DB fans flaunting their numbers and implying DB was negging OP? Or are you actually deluded enough to think OP would've surpassed DB as well?

 

See it this way, when DB was around getting sales, One Piece didn't even exist at that point.

So everything DB has sold at THAT very point, One Piece had 0 sales. So if DB had 100 mil copies sold before One Piece got serialized it means DB had a 100 mil advantage compared to One Piece.

What happened next? One Piece manga started 2 years after Dragon Ball finished. Dragon Ball was hype then and is now so basically it was still getting sold wasn't it? , One Piece overturned the sales advantage of Dragon Ball and went beyond it.

One Piece is an absolute machine.

 

That was after DB was finished though. You can't seriously think that a finished series volumes 2 years later are comparable to those of an ongoing one.

Um, no. DB manga ended with Z and that was it. Side-stuff was released years later and the anime was going on but the manga was out of sight.

 

Also, let's take into account how DB had to build a name for itself in a climate that was very different from it while OP (while different) still sat comfortably on the foundations of its predecessor. The new climate made it a lot easier to get into it.

 

only chance of HXH getting canceled is if writer wants so since even if its volume releases after 2 years gap it is still among highest selling volumes of the year

Dragon Ball had some 42 volume compared to 90+ of one piece so obviously one piece has more volumes sold out there
