Then Monstaa votes Against ANiMUS -

That makes this a 2:1 vote so far. Hades wants to tie it up because he knows that 2:2 odds are better and it might end up a tie at the end of lynch phase, and according to rule 4, nobody will die.

Then he casually changes his vote to Animus making it 2:2 .

I would usually say he is just trying to save his skin but, he doesn't have those whiny "I'm innocent" flashes like most people.
