Normal Game Thread Death Note RPG Game!!

A wolf and a neutral just died. Neither are townies. This is very good. You sound almost disappointed.

 

It's anti-town to spec on who the vig is. We want the vig to remain hiden.

 

Ansa continues to ping me on an emotional level.

 

Truth hopefully we can find out more.

I know it's bad but I kinda want to lynch him and see if it goes through.

Rather than trying to find who the vig is, it's more of how this possible vig could guess that Coffee was scum. Other mafia members could be following a similar pattern to her, or at least another one of them could. The only thing I got from looking back in Coffee's posts is that compared some others, she hasn't posted as much as some others have (though again, she isn't the only one, including myself). She has also been fairly neutral, going along with whatever was going on without standing out so much nor being necessarily inactive. I don't think she didn't anything that would make enemies. Because of this, my gut feeling points towards that perhaps her allies are those she never even talked to on this game thread, but that's just instinct. Plus, I need to go over the thread again to look who those specific people are, but from what I remember though, even that won't limit the size of suspects that much. I've played with Coffee before though on FTB and she tends to do that as mafia at times, but in the case if she changing it up, whether out of her own pure decision or from another mafia's advice, I'll look back to see if any point of her interactions seem 'out-of-place'.

In that sense, even if it was an SK were to have killed Coffee in reality, I think it wouldn't be necessarily a bad idea if we thought of it as "if I was a vig, why would I kill Coffee?" The only wrench in this is who are the other mafia members and what their play style is. If one of them is really good at being mafia, it's possible that they are one of the more active members who give a solid voice to the town. It's most optimal for mafia if said person was a Godfather figure since those would be investigated as innocent, but even if such an ability didn't exist in this game, it's usually the course of action from the games I have played. Of course, there is also the possibility of them being on the more inactive side, though if that's the case, they are no fun. It's rather difficult to tell if the mafia are active in the discussion or inactive, so I'm still thinking about that right now. Not sure if there is a solid way besides getting them to talk in the first place.

 

Okay I checked back and ye, Coffee just went along with the whole Ouki thing. Pretty much bandwagon. She was kinda on the aggressive with Amruc, who we know now is probably the double voter.

Going back to see anyone similar.

 

So you think we might be able to find out some connections and possible kira members?

She didn't display any clear potential ally connections, just as I thought, so I thought it would be wise to see anyone else who was confrontational as well. I pretty much did the exact same thing, so there is a chance that may not be the case for all. Again, there could be someone with a drastically different play style than Coffee in the mafia and honestly, the best thing I can come up with those "Godfather" type play styles is to spot any slip-ups and/or have cop investigate.

It's getting late so I'll be sleeping soon. I'll think about it more tomorrow.

*and by unconfrontational, I mean unconfrontational in the sense that they barely challenge any major issue. Even her thing with Amruc had her attempting to maintain a softer tone. Kinda like in the "I'm going to accuse of this, but I'm not actually going to do anything like place a vote on you, you're just kinda suspicious" sense

An unlynchable character sounds a bit too OP. I am heavily leaning toward it being a 1 time thing. Though not sure how GMs usually balance their stuff here.
