It's ridiculous if both characters (L and Shini) have little to no limitations on them. If it's like Panda where it activate after a certain person dies, then eh, ok, but the host would then have to consider "shit what if that person is the first to die", then we would have two cops running around with unlimited chances to catch someone. L did have some danger since if he investigates the wrong dude, then he dies, but like, Shini on top of L. Ehhhhhhhhh Plus you guys made it sound like Shini can find out someone's role and alignment, which makes it even more OP

Granted, I'm not the host of this game. SK(Host) can do whatever. If it was me, I wouldn't do this, but again, I'm not the host, hence why I'm not going to say there is a 100% that Shini doesn't exist or some crap.

You know what I would give a pass to? Is if they were two different kinds of investigators. For example, a cop and a tracker. Not two cops and two trackers. Dunno if this is actually the case.

As for that last comment about SK, that's not something I see normally. When there is a theme involved (in this case Death Note). I'm new to mafia in SD, so what I'm getting at is that not every player is assigned a character in the game around here? Again, not something I'd do, but whatever.

Gotta say tho I am totally hooked on what's going on. This DP and the activity emitting from the players is making me feel like I am watching a final showdown, completely loving it!!!

I think you're the Shini here when before you had lord M in yur list of potential suspect where this Spitt guy is dead last and suddenly you voted for Scpittfeuer out of blue. Yeah just dont directly reveals yur role or Mod kill incoming. But I'll wait first.

Idk, it seems hard to imagine Shini existing if they aren't SK. Like everyone here doesn't act like they know anything with absolute certainty aside from a couple of situations and throughout the game, that's what it feels like.

If Shini exists, they're opinion should be strong enough to say that so and so is town or so and so is definitely SK, at least during this part of the game. Ye, you have Schpitt, who seems the most dead set on their vote, but he also questioned Sage at the beginning of this phase, which is pretty unnecessary if he already knew that Ansatsu is SK.

Why would they want to wait at this point of the game though? If they just went out and said that this person is certainly town or this person is certainly SK, then the number of suspects would at the very least narrow to two people with absolute certainty. If we wait for night phase, it would risk Shini being killed if they exist and Shini would have nothing to say because they are dead. If Shini is just SK, SK would just internally laugh and not kill, leading back to square one. I see the benefit of forcing SK to take the first hit so that we have three people alive by the end (thus one less suspect), but what is the evidence of cop Shini existing?

If they haven't made their move, how would you know they exist? There's literally no evidence and the reason to lay low now is flimsy. If that was their intention, who could it be out of all of us? To lay low now would mean that they had the same intention as you did: to wait until NP to investigate and not lynch this time around, which would mean that they never had the intention to vote. The only person who hasn't vote is me and I already said that I already said that I'm not Shini.

We can go with this plan, but I'm just saying that if Shini doesn't exist (which seems likely to me) or if Shini dies this night phase, then this whole thing is for naught. Even worse if SK doesn't kill and Shini doesn't exist. From what I'm getting at, you want to bet on the possibility that Shini exists because we technically don't have much to lose even if SK does kill tonight? In that case, eh, but if it ends up being unhelpful, you know why.

I'm not confused, I saw it, but I'm not going to make the assumption that everything is going to be exactly the same when I don't see evidence of it. I'm not going to base a claim simply because a picture, which the host may or may not take, said that's how it works. If you think I'm crazy or dumb because of this, that's fine. I'm not particularly used to having the roles like this laid out and I haven't played a game like this, so forgive me for questioning this entire system that I personally think, is flawed if it's truly the same every single time it's played.

To me, it is you who is making an assumption. It's not absurd if I see almost no evidence of Shini existing as a cop during this game thread and this game only. I never said that the chance of cop Shini existing is 0 or something, I'm been saying that it just appears unlikely given the current situation. If they do exist, that's fine, which is why I don't see the problem of going in the next NP without a lynch. And in the end, does it even matter? If I'm proven wrong, then great, we got a Shini and he can clear things up so we can boost ourselves to victory. If not, we're back to square one and pretty much nothing changed. At the very minimum, town has more time to talk. Is it bad that I'm not as optimistic as you are when it comes to this plan?
