Synopsis
​

After a series of mighty clashes with Upper Rank Demons, the Ubuyashiki clan prepares for one last battle with the hellish forces of Muzan Kibutsuji. In order to finally defeat the Demon leader once and for all, the clan devises a training camp for the Demon Slayer Corps, one led by the remaining Hashira—the most elite warriors in the organization. Each Hashira forms a specialized exercise that will hone both their own abilities and the skills of the ordinary soldiers.

Tanjirou Kamado, a boy at the heart of the brewing conflict, recovers from wounds received in a recent fight. While his half-Demon sister Nezuko is studied by researchers like Shinobu Kochou, Tanjirou embarks to train with the Hashira, seeking mastery in each of their assigned areas of expertise to be best prepared for the coming war—skills vital to Tanjirou, as he has vowed to be the very warrior who will eliminate Muzan for good.

Episode 1 was good. It started out with a group trying to save a kidnapped woman from a demon. The snake hashira and wind hashira were amongst the group. They were able to save the woman, but the demon got away into Muzan's dimension thing. Seemed like that wasn't the first kidnapped woman, but the only one they were able to save. The Hashira were summoned to a meeting and it was revealed they'll never see Kagaya again due to his illness progressing. We got some info around the mark being present on the first demon slayer's who originally brought Muzan to the brink of defeat. It has appeared a few times over time, but there isn't that much info about it. Seems like Tanjirou was the one that brought it to the other two and will be key to bringing it out in the other Hashira. Nezuko has also been going out in the sun a lot and has started to learn how to speak. It's been proposed to Tamayo to go to the demon slayer head quarters to study Nezuko with Shinobu.

 

Episode 2 was good. Tanjirou confronted Muichirou in regards to Muichirou training him at another time. Muichirou is upset that Tanjirou didn't master Water Breathing to it's full ability and that he won't become the Water Hashira like he was "supposed to". Muichirou doesn't consider himself the Water Hashira due to how he passed the test. He survived doing nothing and passing out while another person, Sabito saved almost everyone on the mountain and ended up dying. Everyone but Sabito survived and passed. Pretty tragic, considering how adept he seemed. In the end, Tanjirou spoke out against it and Muichirou seems to have come around.

 

Episode 3 was alright. Was just basically Tanjirou and all of the other demon slayers training under Tengen.

 

Episode 4 was alright. Mostly just training a gain. This time Muichirou training his group with Tanjirou also joining. During the day Muichirou trains the group then at night he trains with two other Hashira; Sanemi and Obanai. It ended with a paper airplane competition lol.

 

Episode 5 was ok. Tanjirou "trained" a bit with Mitsuri next. She was teaching about flexibility lol. Then fed him. After that, Tanjirou went to Obanai who was mad that he was Mitsuri and was a bit brutal with his training. Especially using the other demon slayers as tied up obstacles to avoid. Then, Tanjirou moved on to Sanemi and he was already chimping out. Genya mentioend how he ate demons and he super chimped out and almost killed him. Tanjirou to the rescue! The group got into a big brawl and he was banned from there. Tanjirou and Zenitsu arrived at Gyoumei's for trainined now.

 

I'm 6 epsiodes in and there's barely any action lol.

 

Episode 6 was ok. The training continues with some struggles with the water fall. The largest hurdle was moving the massive boulder. At the end, Tanjirou managed to move it and get into the pattern of it.

 

Episode 7 was good. We got poor Gyoumei's backstory. He raised several orphans basically being a family to them. One of the kids breaks the rule to not stay out a night, gets attacked by a demon and sells out the family so he can live. The kids try to flee but get slaughtered. The only one to stay was the youngest and a four year old, Sayo and Gyoumei beat the demon until dawn. Sayo due to the horrific night somehow came to the conclusion that Gyoumei killed the kids and so he was thrown in jail. After that, Tanjirou goes to Muichirou for the final training. At the end of the episode Muzan approaches Ubuyashiki.

 

Episode 8 was good. I didn't expect Ubuyashiki to suicide bomb Muzan killing his wife and kinds in the process. Damn. With Tamayo holding Muzan in place, Gyoumei was able to decapitate him. Unfortunately it did nothing. Apparently Muzan can only die to sunlight. Now Muzan has teleported the demon slayers to his domain.
