i think it's just the fact that time is being slowed for us audience as opposed to how quick things are happening in ToP and some scenes are happening at the same time. I don't think it was introduced out of nowhere. Earlier when goku first tapped into UI. It was heavily implied that Vegeta could see his movement most probably bc he underwent the same training as Goku with whis. Jiren most likely started taking him seriously and powered up.

  2. That stops making sense when you realise they talked for good 5 minutes. (Unless you want to think they sounded like a YT video put on 2x speed)

You can come up with an explanation, but the show should've done that for you.

yeah i guess 20 minutes squeezed into 1 minute does make little sense. Maybe should've been like 3-4 minutes, but honestly it doesn't change much. Well I don't really think we really need an explanation. Vegeta was able perceive Jiren's movement simply because of what was setup before that. You could also argue that the explanation could be that Vegeta is that close to reaching a new level of power as teased in the preview, but an explicit explanation wouldn't hurt just to clear things up.

The show shouldn't have to explain every little detail to us, its called show and don't tell. Part of the fun is hypothesising on whats going. Plus an in depth explanation during that time would have been jarring as its taking us away from the action.

  5. Yet they cut away from the action constantly to have the crowd tell us the most obvious things. (Vegeta: I can see it! - Piccolo: He can see it! - me: No shit sherlock, the question is how?)

    Show don't tell in DBS...

Those are rather short instances though and cuts back shortly afterwards. It can be a bit annoying yes, but a lengthy info dump inbetween would be worse for a series like DBS, its better to keep things short and simple with enough room to allow the audience to theorize themselves.
