Sooooorry everyone. I took some strong molly with my girlfiend yesterday and worked like all day today.

 

Ooooo boi seems like almost everything about the game anyone has mentioned me for is due to my activity... I probably didnt help anything by not posting

It's obvious as hell. Saying that you're this person in the night write-up is like saying, well, you're this person without putting it in your own words. Globear played Elsword Mafia before when I first made it, so she should have known about the hinting hell that went on there. Like, c'mon, the use of birthdays as hinting last time. wew

Just don't go overboard with it, I don't want this to go on like last time where people were technically hinting, but it was super obvious who they were referring to (or if it wasn't, they can figure it out by skimming through the wiki) and it becomes a game where scum has pretty much no choice but to contradict someone else, which would then lead an almost inevitable town win. To put it simply, when I say "hinting is allowed" it's a pretty limited. The only reason why I didn't want to say "no hinting allowed" is because I didn't mind subtle hinting, as in, you hint in a fashion that doesn't necessarily make it obvious that "oh this person is trying to tell us who they are" for almost anyone. I'll try to clarify this for any future games, but that's the gist. I suppose I might consider changing things up to somehow slip in fake claims, but that time isn't now.

 

Honestly you're better off just allowing full claiming or not allowing it at all (including hinting). Because all hinting does, really, is either work so obscurely it may as well be banned, or be so obvious (like now, really) that claiming may as well be allowed.

Obviously too late now, but something to keep in mind in the future.

 

So, if I'm right we should be able to shut this game down right away.

Just look at who interacts with who in the flavour, assign characters to them and build up a town block from there.

We have 4/9 cleared so that just leaves me, rise, shock, basil and stink.

 

But most of those we have virtually nothing from.
More then half of those names we can't get anything out of and we cant just lynch them one by one we dont have that time.

 

We already have a pool of 5 to lynch in. We get all the characters identified, and then get the inactives if they've been using their abilities to tie it up. At worst we should have scum down to 4. We only need to confirm two more to close out scum. Pretty easy, really.

 

Not really, not with our current numbers, we basically need to get a scum this dayphase or things will get really hard

9-4 is 5 right? We lynch wrong and it becomes game over, basically.

2 of them are Town. You find the two if possible in the writeup and then you remove them, leaving 3, all 3 of which must be Mafia.

So all we need is for the above 4 to check their targets, check the flavour of their targets and confirm them that way. If everyone does the same even the inactives should come forward and clear themselves or each other.
