Yeah, i'm tired with Re-runs as well, though its easy to get more mats and its nice for new players to experience the content they would have missed otherwise, I want a KnK re-run so I can get welfare Shiki for this reason(I'm hoping they will at least put her in the rare prism shop if they don't do a rerun). However at the end of the day, I prefer to play new content, especially for a game like this.

And I do agree that the Anniversary could be better. Other than the large quartz awards we're getting, none of the login awards are particularly special, like c'mon 10 mil QP is nothing. The paid gacha is risky, I would have preferred separated gachas like New Years, but I did appreciate that it includes every SSR in the game, besides the new SSR Ruler Holmes, who seems pretty awesome himself. Luckily the risk paid off for me. I'm hoping the big announcement for the second part of the Anniversary lives up to the hype.

1/2 ap too. Going to use a lot of apples. Now, with my new job, I'll have less time so I need to farm as much as EXP as I can to lvl the rest of the servants that I never bothered to lvl up.

@Ratchet trophies? don't like that. I rather burn it to get something I'll use constantly as the CE which gives +75 FP per quest. I'm constantly lvling up CEs such as my MLB kaleidoscope.

That's the only worth thing besides mona lisa CE and the upcoming bond mashu CE. Who in their right mind would burn a SSR for fous? wtf lol

There's a difference between rolling thicc caster with free quartz than getting her with paid quartz.. free quartz, I wouldn't mind because I never paid money for her but If I did? no welcome in my account.

 

The problem is, the rare prism doesn't give you the CE. You still have to pay 1000 mana prisms per copy, it just unlocks it in the shop. My point being, knowing how rare these servants can be, unless you really hate them I don't feel like it's ever worth getting rid of them for the rare prisms. I could live with myself burning d'eon to unlock the Lunchtime CE, maybe, but nothing else.

The 4* fous, that cost 3 rare prisms each in the shop, are arguably one of the worst implementations of anything they've done in this game. Fortunately, it's easier to accept as they're just ways to focus on your favourite servant more, but all they do is provide +20 to either HP or ATK. It's annoying because you can only use the 4* ones after you've fou'd a servant up 1000 points in each respective stat, and once you pass that point you can't use the other rarities, meaning you need 50 of these things. I've gotten all but one they've given for "free" so far, and my Medb is at 1280 in her fou ATK stat, and 1260 in her fou HP stat. That means every month you have to burn the equivalent of a 4* and a 5* to get both 4* fou's in the rare prism shop and with each event giving away 5 of them (10 in the large ones) it's going to take about 8/9 months to max 1 servant. At least another month if you just stick with events. Honestly, they're so overpriced, but fortunately not important enough to be a big deal.

I understand your point regarding if you rolled her with paid quartz or not, though. It's not been my experience personally, in the two paid gachas I've rolled, I got Tesla and Ozzy, and neither are maxed (I prefer Medb and Ishtar, respectively), so for me it hasn;t made them more important. But I understand where you're coming from there. Maybe my torrid luck has just given me a different perspective, because at this point I think I might cry from joy if I roll any 5*. I'm just telling myself that my luck will change eventually, and if it doesn't, I've rolled most of what I really wanted (with the exception of Archer Gil, but I got him in the NA server). Having Waver and Merlin isn't too bad, either.

 

If you got the CEs with just rare mana then, for the people who had to farm 5,000 mana prism to get it MLB, it won't be fair.

The way you feel about D'eon is the way I feel about thicc caster. Do the math.

Let's be real here. Those fous are for the whales who have nothing to do with their 1,000 rare mana prism. That's not for us, like the 10 items to get a free SSR. It's not meant for player like us.

How do you roll? Do you wait for specific servants? Do you save a lot quartz/tickets? Tbh I've been doing yolos since I started playing FGO and arguably, I get a new SR/SSR each month. Yesterday I rolled my 30 quartz (besides the paid gacha) and I got a third copy of Drake.

Tbh, SSR sometimes are overrated. I've seen solid SR that beat the crap out of a lot of SSR.

 

Got Gil, Altera, and Cu to their 3rd Ascensions. Nero Fest has done me good, just wish the shop had more to it.

Idk if I should waste apples now on the Japanese version tho. Half off dailies is awesome, but the Summer 2017 event is right around the corner.

 

So far I'm loving half ap. My larturia is lv 66/70. Need to max ascend her before I go to bed.

 

I already maxed Mama Raikou, that's mostly thanks to saving up all of the 4* EXP cards from the Summer 2016 rerun. I'm just focusing on QP right now.

Also the Apocrypha anime has gave me the urge to level up Astolfo, with how great he's been.

 

73/80 right now. I stopped farming because my phone was dropping frames like crazy due to thermal throttling. I'm also low on QP lol.

Feelsgood to have maxed out my astolfo, including skill. Whenever I get free time, I'll be sure to check out Apocrypha.

 

When you have skills to level constantly, keeping a stable amount of QP is fuckin impossible.

Yeah, he's been one of the stars of the show thus far. I always was on the fence with him, but Apocrypha has gotten me to actually appreciate his character.

 

I never have more than 20m on my account lol. 20m = one skill.

Hopefully, they won't release his saber version for quite some time. I need to start building my budget towards him.

 

The 10th part of the Anniversary announcement is tomorrow, what do you guys think it is?

Eh. I'd argue gold servants are harder than the farming. And given the cost of the Nero fest CE, I don't think burning the equivalent of a 5* servant per copy is particularly unfair.

Maybe so, but d'eon is a 4*. I've got almost every 4* I ever wanted, with the exception of Nitocute. Liz, Carmilla, both Artoria Alters, PenPen, Herk and Caster Gil (and a load more). Chances are, I'll roll d'eon again sometime. a 5*? Maybe not so likely. And even then, I'd only consider it. If I don't have enough mana prisms to get it LB'd, I'd probably not bother.

That's kind of my point. Though I'd argue it's slow even for the whales, as these things are simply inaccessible for the most part. At the very least, there ought to be more than one copy per month. But I can live with it, because it's not a huge game changer.

I try to wait for specific servants, but I'm not always great at it. At this point, I'm just saving quartz and rolling tickets. I usually do single rolls too, but lately they've been awful. Over the past few days I've rolled about 25 tickets, if not more, and out of those I had 1 5* CE (which I already have 3 copies of), 3 4* CE's (some of which I've already LB'd ) and the rest being 3* servants that I've already maxed NP'd or 3* CE's (instant burn unless it's a special one). At this point, I think I'd rather 10 roll with the guarantee of a gold card than go like 20 rolls without seeing even a gold CE.

Oh, gameplay wise for sure. Both Alter versions are better moveset wise and ATK wise (at level 100) than their Vanilla counterparts. As I say, at this point for me rolling an SSR is like a great surprise which is why I'm probably biased when it comes to not burning them.

Could be anything, really. I'm expecting as underwhelming as possible, though I hope it's not something shitty like a Summer CM or something. What I'd like is alt costumes for everyone or something else that provides more servant interactivity (increased bond, cutscenes for higher bond levels etc) but I know better than to expect anything like that. I could probably avoid disappointment as long as it's something that adds to the game in some way, rather than just fixes or cheaper stuff or things that would come anyway. I was pretty disappointed with Grail Ascension last year (some people has theoried that it would provide buffs drawn from lore which sounded really, really cool, and sounded plausible too considering that the actual implementation provided nothing that couldn't have been in the game at the start) but at this point I'd take that given how underwhelming everything else has been. Only thing I'll be really disappointed if it is a teaser for summer or a later event, as in my opinion that's something that would come about anyway and should be independent of an Anniversary celebration.

Yeah, that would be sweet. I'm totally up for more customization options for our servants. Idk about increasing the bond cap again tho, getting a servant to bond 10 is enough of a journey, but I'd totally be fine with more dialogue and cutscene options in general. They should add to the grail system tbh, I'm kinda hoping that they could add another card art once you max grail ascend a servant. I'm thinking however that it could be another new servant gacha like with Holmes. Either way I just hope its something to be excited for, I mean why wait to reveal something that would be lackluster?

I can't say I'm as disappointed as I was last year, though that's only because of how low I set my expectations for it. There's very little content in this "event", and while the 1* Riyo Berserker is a nice collectible and all there was no reason why this wasn't released back in April Fools or announced ahead of time. At the very least make the event a little more difficult or put a challenge quest in there or something.

I'm more let down that it wasn't costumes, honestly. I don't think it was unreasonable to expect that they'd been working on something this year, given how little new content we've actually had (a handful of new servants - far less than last year's output, 2 new events and 2 story chapters, with new CE's for Valentine's) new sprites and card art for every servant (or every gold servant) would have actually made me forgive them for 2017. Moreover, it also tells me that they're likely going to be very, very lazy with these costume things - I wouldn't be surprised to see Mashu be the only one we get for months. Hopefully we at least get the EoR costumes soon.
