This is where my first potential problem with the series might happen.

I absolutely hate when a mangaka introduces a potential romance between characters and then ignores it. I am saying this because there's obviously something romantical between Fern and Stark and I'd hate it if it doesn't get resolved. They don't need to end up together but please resolve it.

Episode 20 was great. Damn, Fern completely dominated her opponent, Ehre. Übel also kind of met her match with Wirbel, who was then outmaneuvered by Fern and forced to retreat with her lie about killing Ehre. Scharf was also dealt with pretty easily by Land. Frieren was caught a little bit by surprise seemingly by a spell she recognized used by Laufen. But I feel like she let it happen to lure out Denken and Richter. Denken was actually aware of who Frieren was, but it's interesting he still wants to fight her. I guess to "test" himself or something like that. Richter comes off overly confident and is pretty insistent on killing the two girls. We also learn that a lot of mages seek to become aa first class mage in hopes of getting knowledge of a single spell granted by Serie who apparently has knowledge of nearly every spell and allegedly is a "living grimoire" but seems like just like an Elf like Frieren. It also seems like Frieren recognised the name.

Laufen means running and she uses high speed spells I love it!

Episode 21 was great. So it turns out that Serie was Frieren's master's master. The master of the great Flamme. Interesting. Frieren schooled Denken with little effort. She also dismantled the "unbreakable" barrier. She's such a menace. With the barrier down and it raining, Richter was dealt with by Kanne and Lawine. With a fist fight, Denken and Richter were able to get their own bird.

Episode 22 was great. The test concluded. When Fern and Frieren arrived back to meet Stark, Fern wasn't impressed with his staying up late and sleeping late. They and some of the other teams had dinner at a nice place. In the morning Fern was mad again as Frieren forgot to shop. They ended up running into Kanne and Lawine, the latter was dressed up by her brothers. Some sweets calmed Fern down and poor Stark was kidnapped by Scharf and Wirbel. The second test has also been announced.

Episode 23 was good. So the next test is to conquer a labrynth. This one is called the Ruined King's Tomb. People have mostly split up into their original groups over working together as a large unit, as Denken wanted. Freiren fell for mimics a few times, in hopes of finding a grimoire. They also have the proctor tagging along. The main obstacle of the dungeon is clones of the people that have entered it. That's rough. Denken, Richter, Laufen and the extra are up against Frieren's clone now. Gonna be rough.

Episode 24 was good. So Denken, Richter, Laufen and Methode were forced to retreat from the Frieren clone. Übel and Land had a slightly rough time with Übel's clone, but were able to defeated it. Frieren also found a hidden room which had a "masterpiece" mural from the Unified Dynasty era. Frieren, Fern and the proctor Sense met up with Denken's group. After coming up to speed with Freiren's clone, Fern thinks she can kill the Frieren clone. Sense's clone was almost too much for Edel, Dünste and Blei. Edel had to retreat but the other two continued. Ehre, Scharf and Wirbel managed to also defeat their clones.

LMAO at Fern being jealous of Frieren getting hugged

Edel kneeling was an epic moment, the copy used reverse card

Also I must say, some have it easier than others, not really balanced this. Going up against Frieren is a massive feat.

So far, mangaka is pretty consistent with naming characters. Spiegel is a great name, it means mirror, basically what the replicas/copy do anyways.
