If there is interest in a series then it's better to make individual chapter discussion threads.

 

Not really. It clutters from all the other threads which could get interest.
Of course if a series has good interest then no reason not to get a sub-section.
But general discussion, nah. Clutter central.

 

No then everyone would make a discussion for every series in manga section and it kills whole point of section separation and cleanliness.

Sub sections are solely made for reason you can make more then 1 thread/weekly thread of a series

If you allow that normally - whats the point?

10 series gets their own one thread where they talk about its chapters whenever they come vs 1 series that keeps making new threads every week makes it look bad and annoying for new readers to jump in.

Dunno how many peeps read those, so not making general threads for them.
