Kazuma Satou, former NEET and current reincarnated adventurer, finally returns home after the incident at the Crimson Demon village. He is joined by his ever-reliable companions: self-absorbed goddess Aqua, one-trick pony arch-wizard Megumin, and masochistic crusader Lalatina Ford "Darkness" Dustiness. Following their recent exploits, the party is one step closer to vanquishing the Demon King and his armies—a terrifying task that Kazuma is eager to ignore for as long as possible. Things, however, are not going as smoothly as the group would like; they are constantly racking up debt, getting sidetracked during missions, and falling into traps due to their recklessness and eccentricities.

As the party struggles with their perennial issues, they receive an invitation from a princess interested in hearing tales of the group's "heroic" deeds. Darkness' pleas to refuse the invitation only fire the others up to accept it, marking the start of yet another uncanny adventure with unforeseen consequences.

Episode 1 was alright. Started out with Kazuma having a dream of writing to his parents about his adventures an being popular with the ladies, only for it to turn into a nightmare with Sylvia. Kazuma wants to change from an adventurer to a monk apparently, lol. On their journey, they came accross a monster that disguises itself as a young girl in need of help. They all fell for it despite Kazuma's warnings. Nonetheless, they were able to get away without an incident. Kazuma went to go back to her/it, only to hear her complain about the group and practicing for her next lot of victims. Kazuma dealt with her and took the mallet from the dead adventurer that was her prior victim. It seemed to spawn gold which was good for them. They ran into Chris and she seemingly stole it. At the end, Kazuma was invited to a dinner with the princess. This won't end well.

 

Episode 2 was good. Darkness continued trying to dissuade them from attending the dinner while wearing a maid outfit. Kazuma came up with the idea of selling lighters and put it into reality thanks to Darkness' connections and Megumin helping. Seems like they'll be popular. Aqua was denied a free one because she did nothing. She ended up putting on a magic trick show. Wiz's show was doing good for once. The dinner event with the princess was a little rough. Things almost ended badly, but Darkness smoothed it over. When Kazuma was going to leave, the princess kidnapped him.

 

Episode 3 was good. So, Kazuma spend an entire week being the play mate of the princess, Iris. After Iris let out Kazuma reminded her of her big brother, Kazuma just got her to call him big brother. Kazuma sure enjoyed the perks, but as he was getting too comfortable, was invaded by Darkness, Aqua and Megumin. They basically forced him back out, but Iris threw a banquet for him leaving. Kazuma almost schemed up a way to stay, with him planning to pursue the person stealing from royalty. But, instead of being in the castle, the group has been placed at the likeliest target's house, Alderp.

 

Episode 4 was good. The group really overstayed their welcome with Alderp. Really took advantage of him lmao. The night before they were due to leave, Kazuma stumbled upon the thief, who turned out to be Chris, as I suspected. Kazuma let her bind him before she fled to avoid them all knowing it was her, and he covered for her. It turns out she's looking for divine treasures. Apparently they're given to adventurer's like Kazuma who get reincarnated. At the end the devil king's army is approaching so Kazuma and his group are setting out.

 

Episode 5 was good. Kazuma went into battle, only for it to cut to him dead after hyping himself up. Eris the goddess was disappointed, but more so with his lecherous act with Chris. Poor Kazuma got baited by a Kobold and died to a group of them. Eris did end up relenting and revived him and when he came to, the battle was over. Megumin is being hailed as the hero lmao. Eris tasked him with finding those divine treasures. One specifically he's looking for is one that switches bodies. Kazuma and Megumin ended up returning to the castle and the princess Iris. Even though Kazuma didn't do well, Iris was still sweat to him. Turns out, she was wearing the divine treasure and when Kazuma read the japanese on the back of it, it switch the bodies of himself and Iris. He used it to his advantage to bath with Darkness and Claire. On the other hand, Iris as Kazuma got to explore the outdoors with Megumin. Although Megumin baited her into shit talking some men and got her beat up. Might have changed back to Kazuma then though.

 

Episode 6 was good. Yup, Kazuma and Iris did get switched at the end. They weren't impressed with Kazuma. Kazuma and Kris staged a break in to steal the divine treasure. Due to Kazuma's antics and Chris shouting, they were found out. They still managed to get away, although Kazuma stole Iris' ring. According to darkness, whoever gets the ring is to marry Iris. Iris asked for Kazuma to defeat the demon king and he agreed. Turns out that whoever defeats him will marry her, and it seems like that's what she wants as she knows that Kazuma was the one to take her ring.

 

Episode 7 was good. Kazuma got his bounty for defeating Sylvia 300 million! Aqua and Kazuma were living it up lavish with a fancy lunch. They returned to the house to find Darkness and Megumin in the middle of something... Megumin was helping Darkness prepare for some endurance contest. Seems like Aqua also got scammed into buying a supposed dragon egg. Maybe it really is one, but I doubt it. Poor Wiz is also being worked to the bone. Darkness wants to take on a hydra to help people but Kazuma resists as best as he can, even mocking her when she offers a kiss. But the moment she started tearing up he caved. Aqua purified the water only to fall asleep and end up on the hydra's head.

 

Episode 8 was good. Poor Kazuma died again. Darkness had the hydra swallow her to rescue Kazuma. Looks like Kazuma and Chris has a 200 million reward up for them lmao. Megumin wants to avenge Kazuma by taking out the hydra because it killed him. A whole lot of adventurers joined up to take on the hydra. Thanks to them roping it, and Kazuma using drain touch on it, they were able to weaken it. Darkness also saved Kazuma from being squished which allowed Kazuma to continue draining it. Eventually it got weak enough for a the mages to attack. Yunyun got a good shot taking off a head and then the mages funned power into Megumin for a large explosion which finished it. At the end, Darkness left alone leaving a letter. She's leaving due to complicated circumstances.

 

Episode 9 was good. Dust and Kazuma misunderstood x hooking up with a noble. The noble actually had the hots for Dust LMAO. Kazuma went to find a replacement for Darkness and Megumin wasn't happy at all. After some words, Kazuma went to Darkness' place to try and convince her back. She didn't want to go and tried to get the guards to take him away, but thanks to some buffs Aqua gave him, he was able to imitate voices which was able to imitate Darkness and placate the guards. After some scuffling, Darkness chased him out and he went to her father's room. Her father wanted Kazuma to take her and run but Kazuma refused. Darkness and Kazuma argued some more and eventually Kazuma jumped/fell out of the window and fled. He said he wouldn't help Darkness until she begged for it.

 

Episode 10 was good. Megumin was grilling Kazuma pretty hard about him doing nothing and he finally revealed he was basically out of options. They have no other noble friends that could intervene so he was waiting for and hoping Darkness would come to him for help. Turns out the masked demon guy wants to help as it aligns with his own goal. Darkness is set to be married off to Alderp as the flood disaster was mostly covered by the Dustiness family which made their wealth take a massive hit, then the fortress destroyed a lot of the farmlands. Alderp refused to help them, so the Dustiness borrowed money from him to help them, and Darkness was the collateral as they can't repay the amount. In the end, Kazuma and Aqua invaded the marriage to run with Darkness.

 

Episode 11 was good. Kazuma managed to scrape up the 2 billion god damn. He had to sell out the rights to his ideas though. Kazuma said he's going to get his money's worth with her adventuring with them. Yunyun and Megumin entered as things were getting a bit dicey, and they helped out. Megumin even let off a big explosion magic spell. The adventurer's kind of covered their escape. There was a touching moment with Darkness, Kazuma and Darkness' father with Kazuma confirming he'll look after her to him on his death bed. Only for Aqua to step in and get rid of the curse. Seems that Alderp met a fitting end, being played by the demons. Things ended with them all together again.
