Just finished the visitors arc(Lina please comeback soon), I'v got a week to finish 12,13 and 14 before 16 is released. I started this read through like 2 or 3 weeks ago Lol.

1. Miyuki is a magician with modified genetic structure. (similar to Sakurai series)
2. Miyuki is created for Tatsuya
3. Mitsugu visited FLT because if Miyuki becomes the heir, Tatsuya's position will be elevated as a guard person of Yotsuba's leader (it did not use "guardian") So, Mitsugu has some problems.
4. Tatsuya's group was attacked, and Tatsuya dueled against two guardians who protect Shibata Katsushige.
5. Maya tells Tatsuya, Miyuki is not his sister.
6. Miyuki gets chosen as a heir during the spring celebration
7. Tatsuya shows off his new magic.
8. The news about Yotsuba's new heir and her fiance is sent to other 10MC
9. Ichijou family demur(objects) Miyuki's engagement, and the story ends.

12. Tatsuya's regrowth and decomposition are not BS. It is created by Maya. Because Maya is Miya's sister, Maya also has mental interference magic. Maya wanted to destroy the world.

- Miyuki was born in order to stop Tatsuya when he gets out of control.
- Ayako walked out of the Spring Celebration Meeting after she heard about Shiba siblings' engagement. There is additional info regarding Ayako, but I cannot make out what it means. (Ayako thinks, Maya is using Miyuki to provide freedom to Tatsuya; Post 579)
- Tatsuya, Maya, and Hayama are only in the meeting, and Maya is telling the hidden intention. Maya lies to Tatsuya that Tatsuya is her son. She is lying in order to marry Tatsuya and Miyuki. From Maya's perspective, if something happens to Miyuki, Tatsuya will burn and destroy the world. Her vengeance towards the world will be fulfilled. If Tatsuya protects Miyuki from evils of the world, Maya can satisfy herself in another way. She said, either way, Tatsuya will satisfy her and her hatred against the world (her vengeance). This is why they are getting married, and she will not accept any objections.
-When Maya said, Tatsuya is her son, there is another reason.

Info for Tatsuya's new magic
I'll try to explain but please take my words with a grain of salt:
when tatsuya used it to shoot down a wild boar inside a cage during the demonstration, he attach a bayonet to his trident and shoot down the boar in a instant but his magic (according to the narrator) goes through 3 steps:
1. he decompose the atoms of a portion of the bayonet into electrons, protons and neutrons
2. using the fae theory he bends the law of physics by forcing the protons to combine with the electrons to form more neutrons, gathering them all together in the form of a small disk (fae theory prevents the particles from scattering)
3. the disk of neutrons formed is the baryon and it is accelerated towards the target at an insane speed (10k km/s). this process also makes use of the fae theory.
4. finally he regenerates the bayonet thus recovering all the dispersed particles and making his magic environment friendly

 

I'm anxious to hear how lord onii-sama will deal with this situation, because I know he won't fall for this ploy as easily as Miyuki has.

The one who told Tatsuya about his identity is Kuroba Mitsugu.

After a brief reading, it seems that the one who wants revenge on the world was...Miya! On the outside, she wanted to give birth to someone whose power could protect others (especially the children of Yotsuba), but in fact she also wanted vengeance on those that had destroyed her sister's life (and hers as well).


The heads of the branch families had a very long meeting (Mitsugu says he doesn't remember very clearly). At the time, he had already been appointed as the next head of the Kuroba so he also participated in the meeting. They came to a decision (according to Mitsugu): "That kid must die! No, we must kill him immediately!".
However, Tatsuya was saved by Mitsugu's uncle, Yotsuba Eisaku.

Tatsuya then received combat trainings and became Miyuki's guardian - end of Mitsugu's expostion.

To the family meeting in present day, Maya announces Miyuki as the next Yotsuba's head and her fiancé is...Tatsuya.

Maya then reveals to the siblings that Tatsuya is her son, not Miya's, and so that they are not real blood brother and sister. Then Maya orders Minami to take Miyuki back to her room while she and Tatsuya come to her chamber for private talk.

She then admits that what she just said in front of Miyuki (about Tatsuya being born from Maya's egg and Miya being just the surrogate mother) was just...a lie (!)

Tatsuya says that all the DNA tests indicate that they are blood siblings, and that is the undeniable proof. Maya just smiles and asks Tatsuya whether he did the test himself, or the results were from hospital.

Then Maya reveals (again) that Miyuki is, in fact, a modified magician - in a similar way to the Sakurai series.
Why Miyuki was created? "Miyuki was tuned as a mean to restrain Tatsuya", said Maya. She also says that they won't be able to recreate another magician as perfect as Miyuki ever again. And this particular details about Miyuki being "created" is known to no on, even the branch heads.

Maya says if strictly speaking about genetics, she and Tatsuya are aunt & nephew. But from the perspective of "spirit", then Tatsuya can be considered her "son".

Summary of Maya's words:

"When learned about the magic power in you (Decompostion & Regeneratrion), the uncles (referring to the branch heads), including Mitsugu and others in the same generation were all disappointed. But I was overjoyed, to the point of wanting to dance around. I even had to refrain myself from applauding out loud, you know Because your magic is what will fulfil my wish"

"Your magic can turn the Earth into a dead star (LOL), it can destroy the world. Such magic can take revenge on this world, the cruel and unjust world that robbed me of the small happiness of a woman like me"

"Saying you are my son is not that much of lie. Because the one who wanted you to be born was not my sister, it was MY wish.
Mitsugu and the others have misunderstood something. It is true that in term of blood and flesh, you were born from my sister. But I was the one who created your magic. That's why for a magician, you are indeed my son".

Tatsuya: "But you yourself cannot use Mental Interference magic, right?"

In actual facts, in the beginning, everyone - Mitsugu, Miya, Maya and the entire clan were eagerly praying and looking forward to the child Miya was carrying (Tatsuya). They hoped that "He will have the power to protect other children from the injustice of this world".

Later, the head of the Kuroba at the time, Yotsuba Eisake (why he was a Yotsuba but not Kuroba, I have no idea) had analysed and explained the danger of such power to everyone. The whole clan came to their "senses" which led to the meeting with the decision to kill Tatsuya.

When Miya was pregnant with Tatsuya, Maya dropped by several times and sometimes she also said: "I also want to bear a child like that" (oh dear )

Miyuki was also born from Tatsuya's parents. Then she underwent some heavy modifications with the best and the greatest of Yotsuba's technology. Not only genetic techniques were deployed, Metal Interference (MI) Magic were also utilised. So it can be said that Miyuki's DNA is now not the same as before. Maya even guarantees that there won't be any genetic diseases (due to inbreeding) for Tatsuya and Miyuki's child (OH DEAR!!!!)

Back to Tatsuya's question about how Maya "created" his magic while she doesn't have MI magic, Maya replies by saying that it was a miracle. She supposes that due to her intense feeling and wish, she was able to influnce how magic formed in Tatsuya. It also maybe due to she and her sister were identical twins

(I'm calling Satou is trolling us with this, or Maya just tries and finds whatever reason in the mean time LOL)

Miya learned about how her magic was stolen (?), even her right as his mother was taken away.

Miya took away Maya's former self, Maya took Miya's son. From here the two sisters started to distance themselves from one to another, even to the day Miya passed away.
Despite all this, Miya did try to love Tatsuya, but in the end she couldn't. Maya now hopes that Tatsuya can understand his mother's feeling.

The experiment on Tatsuya was, in fact, conducted to "help" him not to lose control over his emotion, and so that his magic wouldn't go berserk.
Miya was very reluctant to do the experiment, she only did it just so that Tatsuya wouldn't become the demon that would destroy the world.
The savage of the one strong feeling in Tatsuya was due to Miya's utmost effort, it even further exacerbated her health.

Maya asks that Tatsuya keep all their conservation a secret from Miyuki, and that he keeps on protecting and taking care of her.
Well, when Tatsuya returns, he tells Miyuki everything (haha).

Miyuki is shocked when she learns that she is a modified magician, but overjoyed because now she can get married with Tatsuya.

She says that Tatsuya would definitely be disgusted by a sister who loves her brother, but Tatsuya says he doesn't care.
Miyuki officially confesses, the two embrace (seen in one of the BW illustrations) and go to bed (!!!!???)

Idk about that last part because I read from a different person that she also asks if he will be able to see her as woman instead of his little sister and Tatsuya says he doesn't know, but he'll try. So Miyuki hasn't won the Tatsuya bowl quite yet.

I don't know about them sleeping together but from miyuki's line in that page, tatsuya is still seeing her as her sister rather than a woman.
miyuki says:

Though apparently they sleep together in the volume, but I am not sure if they banged or just slept in the same bed, but either way it still stands that Tatsuya is forcing himself to do this just for Miyuki's sake. Also Miyukifags are still claiming victory

 

Is this series worth getting into

 

Yes, yes, yes a thousands times yes^^^^^.

 

From what I heard from most people is that they just slept in the same bed, because there was no mention of sex anywhere.

Tatsuya still see's her as his imouto, so he's not going to force himself to take the plunge so quickly.

 

Oh there has been no confirmation that Mahouka will end in 20 volumes, so that could be a false spoiler.
