Goes to show that Tatsuya can deal with anything. Be it, outright war or diplomatic political games. What was up with Koichi in this volume anyway? That guy and Retsu are more twisted than the Yotsuba.

 

They just want to weaken the yotsuba because they are just to powerful and left unchecked, they could eclipse the 10MCs. I mean the literally have 3 of the strongest magicians in the modern era and probably the strongest one to have ever existed with Tatsuya, so you can't really blame them, though their methods are the issue here.

 

I knew they wanted to chip away the power that the Yotsuba hold but what the ****! You can't ******* treat one of the 10 MCs as your ally? A normal person would love to have strong allies and if as a result the Yotsuba end up ruling Japan behind the scenes you just gotta suck it up and let them lead you. I am raging because I kind of liked Kudou Retsu but now even he has gone nuts.

 

Its just a power struggle man, everyone wants to be top dog and even though they are technically allies they are also rivals and will always be in a cold war so to speak, kind of mirroring the political relationship between the USNA and Japan. In Retsu's case, his job is to make sure the balance of power between the clans is equal, but thanks to the growth rate of the yotsuba, its been a very difficult to handle.

Well lets save that discussion about Retsu for the steeplechase thread once you're finished, I don't want to spoil anything lol.

 

Aye sir! Well I understand all the shit but still I wanted Retsu to be something like Kazama i.e Tatsuya's ally.Too bad its going in the opposite direction for now.

 

Well the next arc will give you an answer to this, that's all ill say lol.
