Synopsis

After Mash Burnedead's clash with Magia Lupus, the secret about his powers is now out in the open. The short-lived celebration ends when the Bureau of Magic summons Mash before an audience of Divine Visionaries, who collectively decree Mash should reap the consequences and die. However, an evil shadow organization called Innocent Zero hijacks the inquiry to demand that Mash be kept alive.

Mash proves that he is capable of dealing with Innocent Zero, but the Divine Visionaries' verdict remains unchanged. Luckily, Mash finds unexpected allies in Divine Visionary Rayne Ames and Headmaster Wahlberg Baigan, and they successfully defer his execution until Innocent Zero is defeated. Mash is now allowed to live under one condition: he must be selected as the Divine Visionary candidate by the year's end.

Episode 1 was good. Started out with Mash, Lemon and Fin hanging out with Abel and Abyss Mash gets a warning from Abyss due to him being made a top target by Innocent Zero. They're the worst crime syndicate in the magic realm. They're in the academy looking for people with high magical power. Abel gained his power by aiding them - his third line was artificial and from them. "True" three lined people are even stronger. Mash received a letter and the next day was at the beauro of magic. Mash was summoned for hiding his lack of magic. They want him punished/dead. He overcame one trial by lighting a candle using tradition methods of rubbing a stick to start a fire. The trial was then interrupted by the divine visionaries, seeking to take Mash out. Innocent Zero also made an appearance via a parasite which Mash dealt with. It ends with a confrontation between Mash, Orter and Ryoh.

 

I loved first season so will love this

 

Episode 2 was good. A bit of a showdown of ideals and what to do with Mash. In the end, it was agreed that his punishment would be postponed for now. They've set a lofty goal for him to not be punished. That is to become a divine visionary and he's also been tasked to deal with Innocent Zero. He and the group went to hang out and stopped by a wand shop. Mash picked up some super heavy wand no one has been able to use. The divine visionaries have sent Margarette Macaron after Mash despite the agreement. He's currently visiting his father with his friends and Rayne has intercepted Margarette.

 

Episode 3 was good. The showdown between Rayne and Margarette was good. It seemed like Margarette had won and had Rayne trapped, only for it to be revealed that Rayne is a triple liner, those said to be chosen by the gods. He's the youngest one. The board game that Mash and the others are playing has been rough for them. Rayne was able to summon his wand's dormant true form, allowing them to call form the strength of a god in their wand. In the end, Rayne forced Margarette and his goons to flee, but Margarette was pretty much fine and didn't go all out. Interesting. There are three stages to becoming a divine visionary. First is collecting gold coins (this was temporarily brought down to 3), then the divine visionary candidate exam and finally the divine visionary elect final exam. Everyone is hating Rayne but it's about to kick off!

 

Episode 4 was decent. The first trial was getting keys while being forced to flee. Mash and another guy Max teamed up. In the end, the senior gave Mash the key so he could pass, while Max attempted to fight Carpaccio Luo-Yang. Mash passed but Max was defeated badly. The next test is trying to survive without breaking all of the crystals while being teamed up. Unfortunately Mash and Dot already broke their crystals.

 

Episode 5 was good. With the team split up, it was unlucky for Finn to run straight into Carpaccio. He got beaten down badly but didn't give up. Mash arrived at teh same time. Even with Carpaccio's broken ability to reflect damage, Mash was able to overwhelm it and pull a win.

 

Episode 6 was good. Started out with Margarette taking on two opponents and he beat them easily. With that they gave up and that round is over. Seems that Margarette is the strongest student possibly and he would've beat Rayne if he competed previously. Mash also had a run in with the head of magic talent. That was rough. First match up is Mash vs Margarette!

 

Episode 7 was good. Mash vs Margarette was good. Really neck and neck. Seemed like they were constantly one upping each other. In the end, Mash pulled a win. Innocent Zero has now invaded and seems to have stopped time. Mash is apparently his son too?! The headmaster is now facing him down.

 

Episode 8 was good. Innocent Zero seemingly did pause time. The head master seems to have quite the imposing presence to the underlings, even frightening them. The headmaster was able to break the magic off select people. They've been tasked to deal with the demon's summoned by Innocent Zero while the headmaster deals with Innocent Zero. Mash is confronting Cell and he has no clue who it is, not remembering him at all. Lance and Dot have also been turned into babies by their opponent. Rough. The divine visionaries came to be with a dark magic user Adam. His best students were the headmaster and innocent zero. Innocent Zero has no face, seems like he's got some weird non human form.

 

Episode 9 was good. Adam was basically the pinnacle of the magic world when he was around and entrusted his ideals to his three pupils. Innocent Zero brought Adam's body back with his magic, although it's only the body. One of his underlings is using it as a puppet. Apparently the magic matches Adam at his prime. Dark magic sends anything it touches to the void. Wahlberg seems to be the counter for the Dark magic due to his magic controlling space. He might even be more powerful than Adam. Innocent Zero also made multiple sons to try and create the ultimate body. Cell is also a clone of Innocent Zero's made when he transferred his blood to a corpse. Mash defeated Cell.

 

Episode 10 was good. Ryoh and Nerey are approaching the area, only for Nerey to end up frozen. Ryoh decided to continue and arrived to help the students. Innocent Zero and the head master Wahlberg continued their battle. They seem to keep turning the tides of battle to their favour. When it seems that Wahlberg has the win, Innocent Zero basically negated the spell by turning back time. When Wahlberg was about to die Mash entered and kneed Innocent Zero in the face.

 

Episode 11 was good. Mash put up a good fight against Innocent Zero, considering he was outmatched. Innocent Zero stole Wahlberg's magic, and his body couldn't take it, so he withdrew. Although he merged the summoned demons into a massive one which almost killed the students. Luckily Mash arrived in time to drag it back by the chain. The students all cheered him on in the end and he threw it through a few mountains.
