Synopsis

Following the faceless god Hitogami's advice seems to have worked wonders for Rudeus Greyrat. After enrolling into the University of Magic as he was told, Rudeus reunites with his childhood friend Sylphiette, who put a valiant effort into curing his condition. The two grow ever closer together and decide to host a wedding party, inviting the friends they have made over the years to announce and formalize their relationship.

For all his recent blessings, however, Rudeus' troubles are far from over. The research he is helping Shizuka Nanahoshi conduct hits a bottleneck, sending her into a deep slump much like he experienced in his previous life. Furthermore, a letter from his father, Paul, brings complications to Rudeus' relationships, and Sylphiette still knows next to nothing about his real background. In the face of these issues, Rudeus will have to apply the lessons he has learned in this new world to navigate through the challenges that come with living a life to its fullest.

Episode 13 was alright. Started out with Rudy telling his friends he's over his illness. Moved on to ideas for what he should do to provide for Sylphy. He decided on a house. The one in question was allegedly haunted. Turns out it was a puppet of sorts run by magic. Interesting. Zanoba requested to oversee the research into it.

 

Episode 14 was ok. More about Rudy and Sylphy getting married. They invited all of their friends from school. Apparently, Elinalise is also Sylphy's grandmother. Might be the most retarded twist yet. Somehow despite her curse I guess she was "normal" around her children then when they grew up enough se left, which is nonsensical considering how she lived. Then again apparently despite needing to screw everything because of the curse suddenly she doesn't at all with Cliff. Just completely inconsistent nonsense. Obviously her character is either the author's fetish or "shock" for viewer retention. At the end, Luke challenged Rudeus to a duel to make sure he'd look after Sylphy. He lost without much effort.

 

Episode 15 was good. Started out with Rudeus getting a letter from Paul. His sisters are being escorted to stay with him with someone he knows. I suspect Ruijerd. Poor Shizuka is absolutely devastated and lost all hope of returning home because none of her magic seals were working. The entire group of friends worked together and helped her fix it and she was able to summon a bottle of water! Aisha and Norn arrived and the escort was Ruijerd!

 

Episode 16 was alright. Ruijerd was quick to make himself scarce lol. Looks like he and Badigadi have some history and not the good kind. Norn was very sad to see Ruijerd leave and wanted to go with him. She's also being a real **** to Rudy and even not getting along with Aisha. Aisha still wants to be a maid for Rudy lol. She seems to excel with academics but Norn struggles. Norn has also elected to stay in the dorms and join school while Aisha is being a maid.

 

Episode 17 was alright. Norn was struggling with school as everyone was constantly comparing her to Rudy. Rudy also ended up having a bit of a talk to her and now she's doing much better. Although, it seems she partially overcame it herself too. Rudy didn't want her to have the same regrets he did.

 

Episode 18 was ok. So, in usual retarded circumstances, Sylphy is now pregnant. They're obviously too young and now it's anchored Rudy to the school. But created the stupid scenario of wanting to stay there and then answering the "Need urgent help" for Zenith's rescue. If Rudy wasn't going then Norn was going to, so Rudy decided to go find his parents.

 

Episode 19 was ok. Rudy talked to Elinalise about going and she agreed to travel with him. Next he told Shizuka and how it would be like a 2 year round trip. She gave him a tip about a summoning circle to teleport which would make it basically less than 7 months (before the baby is born and seemingly Sylphy is 2 months along). Rudy said his farewells to the rest. Cliff gave Elinalise a slightly upgraded thing for her curse and Rudy said he wouldn't help her with it, which is kind of weird being that her ******* randoms is somehow better than him lol but whatever. The teleporter worked fine! To start out with, Rudy almost got done in by a succubus but Elinalise saved him. Taking a shortcut they also ended up face-to-face with two griffons. They were able to dispatch them without too much trouble.

 

Episode 20 was good. Elinalise and Rudy finally arrived in the town. They met up with Paul and the rest of the rescue team there. It turns out Roxy got lost (potentially killed) in the dungeon a month ago. Rudy initially freaked out but Elinalise helped calm him. Rudy also managed to get the one book to really help out with it that's a journal of sorts. It made getting through the dungeon a lot quicker. Thankfully, they were also able to save Roxy before it was too late. Still, her lasting in there for a month is ridiculous.

 

Episode 21 was good. The party went back with Roxy and allowed her time to recover before continue back into the dungeon. Roxy also got Rudy to agree to go exploring a dungeon alone together at a later time. They have also progressed further into the dungeon. Paul also wants to talk to Rudy about having two women with his sword analogy lol.

 

Episode 22 was good and brutal. Moving ahead, they've finally found Zenith. She's guarded by a hydra. Yikes. First round didn't go well. They're going with the "cut off the head and then burn the stump to cauterize the wound". This worked well. At the end Rudy got idk ******* caught off guard and Paul saved him, only to be crushed and seemingly bisected by a rock that fell. RIP. They retrieved Zenith and when she woke up, seems like she's reverted to an infant because of course.

 

Episode 23 was meh. Rudy back to a pathetic pity part. Woe is me. Roxy took advantage to **** him. Classic shit. With that he's over Pauls death and seemingly wants Lilia and Zenith to move in, which makes sense now that Zenith needs care.

 

Episode 24 was good. The group made it back and Rudy was freaking out about the empty house, only it was just temporary. Norn blamed Rudy for Paul's death then came around. Then she chewed out Rudy and Roxy for what happened, despite Paul also having two wives lol. Sylphy was ok with what happened and welcomed Roxy. We then got the birth of Rudy and Roxy's daughter Lucy. It was a nice moment at the end with Rudy speaking at Paul's grave.
