Synopsis

After his relationship with Eris Boreas Greyrat reaches new heights, Rudeus Greyrat is ecstatic. Unfortunately, his joy is short-lived, as Eris suddenly abandons him to embark on her own journey. Believing that Eris has lost all interest in him, a heartbroken and depressed Rudeus sets forth to the Northern Territories. With his sole goal being to locate his mother on the vast continent, Rudeus wonders if persisting through daily life is worth the pain, falling into a robotic routine as he endlessly ruminates on his lost love.

However, the dangers of the North soon prove that one cannot survive with a dulled mind. While on a quest with the party Counter Arrow, with whom he recently became acquainted, Rudeus has a brush with death—an experience that forces him to finally snap out of his despair. With his newfound teammates, Rudeus rediscovers the pleasure of daily adventuring and moves forward with his original goal of living his second lease on life to the fullest.

Episode 1 was decent enough. Rudeus is on his was in the Northern Territories which is a snow region. He's in search of Zenith. With the ride he's hitching, he's joined up with a new party whose leader was pretty insistent on making talk with him and getting him into the group. It seemed like they were on a simple mission, but a large group of bears attacked. The group handled it well when Rudeus was basically doing nothing to die. Eventually, he snapped out of it and took out a large group, saving the party.

 

Episode 2 was alright. Rudeus has made a bit of a good name for himself helping out various groups. He also went on another job with the same party as before and they got attacked but managed to take them out. Another party led by Soldat who wasn't happy they crossed paths and so decked Timothy. They were able to work things out theorizing that the demons had tunnels that connected the two separate places. Afterwards, when they were celebrating, Sol really tore into Rudeus. A little while later, the group announced that Sara was missing and Mimir was dead. Luckily Rudeus was able to save Sarah and Mimir was confirmed dead. RIP.

 

Episode 3 was kind of just pathetic. Starts out showing Sarah being very into Rudeus. So far that they go on a date and then try to progress things further but Rudeus can't get it up... Sarah storms off in anger and Rudeus mopes around. Surprisingly Soldat turned out to be a good guy and has tried to help him. He even took him to get help from an experienced woman, which also didn't help. Then he carried on with some badmouthing about Sarah and she heard it and stormed off, then he tried to kill himself. After that drama, Soldat asking him to join him. Looks like Elinalise is finding him too.

 

Episode 4 was ok. Rudeus took down a dragon which was impressive. Then, Elinalise showed up. Shame the show wastes so much time on her ******* around and we just never see Sarah or that other party again. then Rudeus leaves with her to attend the academy.

 

Episode 5 was decent. Rudeus and Elinalise finally arrived at the academy. Rudeus also had a battle with Sylphy and won fairly easily. Some people got a bit offended by it but she was fine. He doesn't know that it's Sylphy yet. Sylphy also saved him from being attacked when he was spotted having caught some panties. Elinalise is the way she is due to a curse, apparently.

 

Episode 6 was ok. Nice to see Rudeus and Sylphy interacting. Zanoba is struggling learning to sculp from Rudeus so they have taken in a dwarf slave that's is only 6 to teach her magic and help. They named her Juliette.

 

Episode 7 was good. The introduction showed Sylphy's daily routine and how she mostly just thinks of Rudy now lol. Julie is progressing well and can use a small amount of magic without an incantation. Rudy saw how Roxy's figure was destroyed and it was the beast race girls, Rinia and Pursena. They were "taught a lesson" and now see Rudy as their boss lol.

 

Episode 8 was good. Poor Cliff has a crush on Elinalise. He's even "defending" her from the "rumours" of her ******* anyone which is true lol. After some talk, Rudeus agreed to introduce them after Cliff begged. Elinalise was strongly against being with anyone due to her curse. They ended up hooking up and dating lol. Poor Rudy also has to deal with challengers that Rinia and Pursena are sending his way for their hand. Towards the end the demon lord, Badigadi showed up to challenge Rudeus. He took Rudeus' best shot head on and lived. Seems like he's going to teach there? lol.

 

Episode 9 was interesting. Rudeus ran into the masked girl that was with the dragon god and freaked the **** out. She's from Japan too and her name's Shizuka and it seems like there are at least 4 in total. Rudeus, herself and two others she's looking for. Rudeus and Shizuka agreed to work together as she can't use magic. Shizuka also thinks her being teleported there caused that catastrophic event.

 

Episode 10 was good. Rudeus is spending a lot of time helping Shizuka which seems to be making Sylphy a bit jealous lol. Rudeus and Elinalise (with Cliff tagging along) caught up with Soldat, which was nice. So, the princess is going around pretending to be "Fitz" which is why Sylphy barely speaks. Seems like a good disguise, all things considered. Rudy also got his "mojo" back after Sylphy fell on him lmao he was a bit worried about being gay.

 

Episode 11 was funny. Even the princess is sick of Sylphy taking 6 months and still not telling Rudy who she is. She was cornered by the Ariel about it and set up a rather convoluted way to get them alone on a "mission" for the princess to re-enact when Rudeus found out she was a girl. Nice the see them finally reunite.

 

Episode 12 was ok. Things didn't work out with Rudy's continuing condition. Sylphy let Ariel and Luke know how it went and Ariel mocked Rudy a bit, but Luke was sympathetic. Luke gave Sylphy an aphrodisiac and Ariel gave her some money and with that, Rudy was able to get over his issue and they consummated their relationship. Due to this, Rudy became an ally of Ariel and professed he wants to marry Sylphy.
