Yup kinda feel like the fight of SH and Tobiroppo would be better than Marco Vs King/Queen.
Zoro had to be on top because he has oden's sword and oda loves poetic justice

 

Personally king and Queen this arc are so damn underwhelming they are commanders. Jack has more testosterone to take beating from sulong batch.

I will wait getting impatient rooftop panel , oda dragged the pointless 8 chapters.

 

That's the one thing i dislike about OP. Why bother introducing a shit ton of characters when you couldn't handle each one's story any better? Why not have a small amount of well written characters instead.

 

Thats why i am reading kingdom , OP is not good as before especially the current war is okayish but look at pre time skip and now quality has dipped.

 

I still like OP btw because the lore is well setup, we know there is more about will of D and Ancient weapons . Oda has not revealed why void century will matter to the story ?

Naruto faced whole lot of problem especially kishi focused on naruto and sauce .

Kishi got lucky with naruto though look at samurai 8 it was not well received.

 

Not really. Naruto part 1 was very good and its popularity didn't nosedive and remained consistent till end of manga on other hand Samurai 8 never actually took off.

You can literally check Naruto never lost good chunk of sales like other mangas like Bleach and Gintama

Apart from being horrible manga there were 2 main reasons of Samurai 8 failure

1. Shueisha overprinting its volume believing they can sell it on Kishimoto's veteran tag and it failed horribly. Their saving grace being Kimetsu no Yaiba dominating every aspect of Japanese life though

2. Boruto's existence made Naruto fans feel like Naruto never left and has just become horrible(ie Boruto's nosediving sales) thus there was no enthusiasm for Kishimoto's return like there is when a veteran mangaka returns

Kushimoto copies chunin arc from hunter x hunter though i would say part 1 was par excellent , shippuden was damp squib he filled it with nonsense talk no jutsu shit.

 

Odens Flashbacks were the best part of wano

not really almost all Shonen mangas have a exam/test arc.

Naruto actually does Chunin exam pretty fantastic and even capitalises on it at end of part 1 exploring chars in 1 vs 1 against s5.

Shippuden starts up as fantastic giving Sakura a fight against Sasori and Shikamaru a fight against Hidan. Sasuke vs Diedara and Itachi and Naruto vs Pain are just peak of it.

It fells downhill becoz of DBZ lvl power wanking and turning almost each and every char apart from Naruto a dummy for 200 chaps. I can count best part of war arcs aka Madara vs 5 kage, Itachi's goodbye a Madara vs Hashirama flashback.

Obito after mask comes down is subpar villian. Good but not as awesome Tobi was.

Kishi had chance to end it all with bang with Madara but he chose Kaguya who had literally zero personality and buildup.
Naruto vs Sasuke saves some grace but it was 4 chaps long.

Probably the reason is as Naruto became big so did Kishi and his editor couldn't tell him that his plot fuckin sucks
