Chapter was very interesting. I suppose I was wrong, Jural wasn't a traitor. I am going to guess that the king and people there were turned to demons and Jural and Loki must've stopped them. I am not sure how I feel about this demon magic stuff. Feels so weird. Like, this is beyond devil fruits. Even the gorosei if they were demons still felt like mythical zoan fruits. Here Imu literally summoned a grimoire or whatever you want to call it, used blood and forced Dorry and Broggy into a contract and turned them into demons. Also lol at the "true strength of elbaf" my sister in christ, you literally amped them up by making them into demons and the other things literally are from a fruit power of underling. It's hardly Elbaf. I sure hope Luffy enters next chapter.

 

Yeah, I have the same thought. Like it just seems like magic or demon arts out of left field. Like, the themes of it are there, but that isn't the issue. People brush it off as devil fruit being magic, but it's not lmao. It's like all powers in one OC.

We don't know how it works but it seems like summon shotgun/knife > stab person with knife > load shotgun with knife with person's blood > blast with shotgun (at this point their will is weak to be overtaken?) > do the chant/ritual to turn them. Imu was also insistent on them being kings, so maybe it only works if people are affiliated with an island? idk it's weird.
