Eh. Sanji broke the vines with his fire kick. Sommers did another good face and Luffy satisfyingly punched him. I'm not a fan of like any dragon Oda has draw, they all look terrible. I would've thought that Imu would've already have known the fruit and Ragnir was on Elbaf, but seems more and more as time goes on Imu doesn't know a ******* thing.

 

I mean it just goes back to common sense, right? The weakness of crocodile was water/liquid, so plants are weak to fire, makes sense. I think Imu seems terribly written. Idk it's just everything around Imu is too convenient isn't it? Imu conveniently knows both everything and nothing at the same time. Imu is like oh the holy land is burning, shamrock please come back, but at the same time, didn't just kill whoever was there by themself? Complained and killed Saturn over letting Luffy off, but then somehow doesn't instantly try and murder Luffy on Elbaf. They seemingly did and didn't know the rubber fruit was the Nika fruit. Like, realistically, why didn't they just capture Luffy? Luffy is a ******* retard. They could've been like "come with us for infinite meat" when he first set out and he'd be all for it. Like it's just nonsensical shit.

 

I think it's just the cop out "they can't know I exist" shit.

50-50 on it making sense, if you presume it was used by giants in the past, why wouldn't it be at the giant homeland...? Not to mention, didn't he know shit from the people marked/with a contract? I feel like this is info that should've been gleamed from Harald... I mean, it seems like Rocks knew it, if Rocks knew it, how does the WG not know it? Their network is much better than any pirates in terms of information, etc?

 

Us not knowing shit is the other side of the same problem. All we get is useless information that doesn't actually tell us anything useful relevant to the plot.

Nah that's more shit. The fruit "evades" them for some retarded reason, but if way back they tricked luffy to willingly go with them it's a non-issue. It's all just bs imo. It's a weak reason. Not like the fruit grows legs and moves away. It's just by chance. The thing is Imu apparently had no clue, it's just weak. You would at least suspect the fruit linked to a giant god of war would be in the giant kingdom if it's nowhere else. Idk.
