Yeah but why is Kaido so important here? Kaido was never portrayed as THE STRONGEST in the series, he was portrayed as THE STRONGEST BEAST.

I think we as a reader should and must expect BB to be stronger based on the sheer infos we have about him and IMU now considering he sits on a throne. Having G5 being the biggest easy mode now would made the story for me like Dragon Ball where nothing is being taken serious, but that's just me I guess.

 

No one says Kaido isn't strong, Kaido probably still whoops everyone bar Akainu, Shanks and BB.

It's just that by sheer info Oda gave us, we are swayed to the conclusion that BB is stronger based on 2DF's and the W's he got in the story. I for once never assumed Kaido was the end goal in strength because we never touched the levels of Shanks as well. Kaido for me as a reader was the biggest obstacle of Luffy so far because:
1. He was the biggest yonko so far other than BM present in the story.
2. He beat the strongest yonko so far in the story with G5.

I understand you find it stupid that after all these time we thought YONKO = STRONGEST but then again...it's was never showed otherwise. As far as we know BB can be on whole different level or the 5 elders for that matter now.

Personally I feel Kaido somehow swayed peoples mind thinking he is the pinacle of power when that's just not true, he was never portrayed as the STRONGEST in the story, idk where that comes from?

 

Also If I'm being real, I think Whitebeard made us spoiled. I think people compare Yonko to WB powers and if we are being real, WB as well was on whole different level as well. I'd take WB winning against Kaido anyday in a week.

I also don't see Big Mom doing anything off scale what WB did as well.

That's 2 YONKO out of 4 where there are no way near WB powers IMO. I think that played a massive part in your conclusion for what YONKO powers are because you associate WB power level to Kaido and Big Mom where we all know that's not even close, or am I just wrong and am underestimating Kaido.

 

Fairs, I understand your concern, but I think you are comparing Yonko powers based on what you've seen WB do and IMO Big Mom and Kaido are not on WB level.

 

But admirals were never shown equal?

If you were to rate Admirals in powers, logically you'd say Akainu>Kizaru>Aokiji from what you've seen in manga. Akainu whopped Aokiji and made him lose a leg.

If we are basing Yonko on Admirals, I feel it's obvious not everyone is on the same level. Even now if you are rating Yonko. Logically you'd go BB>Shanks/Kaido>Big Mom.

Kaido was said to be THE STRONGEST CREATURE and the first panel we see of Kaido was KAIDO THE BEAST or something like that. I feel like that doesn't mean it's the strongest overall?

Yonko are your top 1% of pirates, doesn' mean all these TOP 1% are on the same power level. Big Mom is legit a YONKO just because her durability is insane and there's no way to stop her, I never expected her to be on WhiteBeard level or Kaido's level sheer power wise.

I feel that's right from what we've seen, if you were to see Kaido fight Big Mom, you'd say 10/10 times Kaido to win.

 

Also as in Luffy saying G5 is his peak, yeah it is and we probably won't ever see another gear. I feel him saying it's his peak is valid, but we barely scratched the surface of what Gear 5 can do?

We don't know what's the limit of G5 in what it can do and produce.
