but Ototsuki shit came without 0 build up it just happens, moon people, whoopsy do. for what they represent they are well depicted, it's just shit in terms of Naruto.

Imu is a devil build up with using devil powers, like how is that not good for what's supposed to represent? How else is he supposed to look? He looks sinister and different as he should be?

 

but is that just not true?

We've got different design in Naruto which is different from everything we've seen so far in span of few chapters without any buildup these people exist, that's why it's shit.

In One Piece, Imu appeared as an unknown 7 years ago, in that time, we've seen him do unusual demonic shit. I'd say for the buildup and the powers he posesses, his design fits what he is supposed to represent, a demonic figure, a king of the world and a guy who defeated Joyboy.

I don't get how's that comparable to Naruto and Moon people ;_;

Also he looks very similar to Lunarians in terms of design + the horns, it's not like we haven't seen people with tattoos before. Only thing weird could be the black eyed cloud but then again...awaken Zoans have the same cloud but white - the eyes ;_;

I find it quite interesting and funny how people find Skypiea so boring, turns out holds the most lore ever in a single arc story wise

 

If you'd have told back in 2020 that the final villain in OP will be Imu (a moon person), I would've flipped the table since Kaguya (another moon person) was so poorly done. But now I think Oda is going to stick the landing.
