    if you remember what Hawkins said, there's a very low percentace that someone will get alive from it, I assume Luffy being massivly injured for whatever reason, I hope because of G5

    Yes. But if Wano is nearing the end there's no time for the raid to fail lol. I can't see Wano having 5 acts at this point.

    doesn't need to be a defeat though, he can very well go G5 beat Kaido and be massively injured due to after effects, compared to G4 where he lost his haki but to greater extent

    Yeah, I can see Luffy KOd after winning due to exhaustion. The whole 1% chance (actually 100% because he's the MC in the manga) is the same as when he was poisoned in impel down. It's meant to be like "Damn, all of the odds are against Luffy because Kaido is so strong". But it was rigged anyway.
