Based Law. Railgun kind of cool but seems way out of place. I am 90% on the side of BM not getting up.

 

It's meant to be but doesn't feel like it, idk. Just how it's written so inconsistently. Like, look at how much better WB looked in the war with all it took to bring him down. Meanwhile BM getting clowned on by two people, and Kaido to a lesser degree. To make it worse, BM was basically fresh going into her fight.

 

In all seriousness, I think it's simply because Oda wrote himself into a corner with the strength of the Yonko. Previously the only thing that would hurt BM was when her "iron defense" was down, I.E when the portrait broke. I am fully behind Law's power working on her because he's focused on internal damage. Makes sense. Even Kidd's last attack makes sense that it works. But his physical attacks with no Haki shouldn't have really made any difference imo.

Also when you have moments they're on the ground and BM just walks off makes it just retarded. Also, did we even see her use CoC coating like when she one-hit Page One? I also don't get why she'd just face tank Kidd's attack lol. Just arrogance? But then why was she like "KAIDO DODGE" for Zoro's attack? Just the usual case of a character going full retard I guess. The other issue is all of the time wasted with Luffy's beef with BM from when he was on Fishman Island and said he was gonna kick her ass. Feels like a lot of wasted time now.

 

On the bright side, hopefully no more retarded power ups after this Arc. But yeah, hopefully we never see BM again and Katakuri takes over as captain.

 

Those are expected, and accounted for imo. Might be a hot take, but I don't think top tiers (BM, Kaido, BB) will awaken. That would be op on op.

 

Awakening seems to be the device to allow the weaker to overcome the stronger. I guess Doffy had it to establish the point further. Katakuri did because he was luffy but better.
