Considering there are 136 seats in line in first two phases which are Jat and farmers dominated region. BJP won 109 last time and people are saying there number will be almost halved if everything goes normal. So yeah Teni's release might bump of few more seats

The train station at Vadnagar existed for several decades by the time Modi was born. It is likely he sold tea there, given that it is normal for children to help out parents at their food/beverage stalls throughout India (including urban India). You see this in Bangalore to this day. So it shouldn't be too surprising to be true for rural Gujarat in the 1950s.

Cost of a cup of tea then would have been a fraction of a Rupee. I remember my dad talking about having a hearty breakfast on just Rs. 2 (he was born the same year as Modi) when he was in school and college. He also said that having Rs. 10 in the pocket back when he was a child was equivalent to having Rs. 2k or 2k in the pocket today.

Bruh... What father, especially a supposedly poor one from rural North India, is going to put that kind of money into a primary school child's hands?
